Apparently signing for Carlisle Utd.
Apologies if this has already been been posted elsewhere but couldn't see it.

I thought parkes always did his best in a rovers shirt and was always brave and not afraid to risk injury so i wish him well wherever he is.

Important part of our team for a few years and played a major part in our two promotions so agree completely. Would always give him a big cheer if he came back. UTG!

A good player when his weight was constant but sadly he was prone to weight gain and the more he put on the poorer his form became. He always gave 100% though and I wish him well.

Two relegations to the Conference in teams that were 'too good to go down.' Obviously not really his fault, but if I were a Carlisle fan, I'd be crossing my fingers, and avoiding black cats.

I'd carry a rampant rabbit's foot in my pocket for good luck.

Wishing I was lucky. Kylie Minogue.
I'd carry something rampant in my pocket, for that.

Just chatting with Toms dad. Apparently move is on hold though still interested, but the stand out part is that Swindon are showing interest as well.

Well they have a reputation for getting great players in to f**k them up - Di Canio Sheerwood etc. Parkes is on a hatrick so hopefully will love to oblige

Personal indiscipline (dietary) and often hot headed on the pitch could be reasons for his decline?

All this unhealthy eating and drinking yet he is still making a living as a pro footballer. What's everyone else's excuse?
Even a few 'Eastville heroes' used to come out of the pub on Stapleton Road and go straight to the game!!
