A few players in the Championship I noticed are not playing very regularly that could probably do with a loan...
George Moncur, George Thorne, Ryan Ledson, Tom Bayliss, Louis Moult, Sam Winnall, Garath McCleary, Danny Loader, Martell Taylor-Crossdale, Dru Yearwood, Josh Koroma
Would you take any of them?

Or maybe Elliot Lee from Luton - perhaps not prolific enough. We’ll know soon enough what’s happening.

Said on here I’d have liked us to go for Moncur but that was a couple of years ago. Haven’t heard much of him in the past year - has he gone backwards a bit or in need of a new challenge?

Played 41 times last season for a combination of Barnsley and Luton scoring 11 goals. Struggle for regular game time this season in the championship so perhaps Luton would be prepared to do a deal?

I'm wondering if BG's going to be able to tap up any of his former employers? Decent links of he can but letting myself run away with the prospect of Mourinho letting us loan some Spurs starlets...! But then Pulis and Ollie aren't working... 🤔

But then Pulis and Ollie aren't working... 🤔 It doesn't hurt to ask. Tottenham loaned out Jack Roles to Cambridge until January. He could probably do a job for us if they want him to step up a level, although looks like Cambridge are confident of extending the loan. They have also loaned out Kazaiah Sterling and George Marsh to Leagues One and Two respectively. J'Neil Bennett, Paris Maghoma and Harvey White could be decent options for us from Spurs if possible. www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/players/jack-roles-cambridge-loan-move-17490993.amp

I mean, I appreciate you've just noted a few players but on the whole I have a good feeling about this. We always seem to have a few players in on loan who don't get any game time. But maybe that's because we don't get good loans usually? I might have to look up Spurs youth teams on Football Manager 😉 haha!

Watched Spurs youths a fair bit over the past couple of years in the U18s U23s and Uefa Youth League and they have several quality players that could do a job. J'Neil Bennett has also caught my eye playing for the England youths and apparently Harvey White was one of the standout performers when Spurs played Pompey in the Trophy last season.

It'll be interesting actually thinking about it now, how this could affect our development squad, should we be able to bring in high calibre youngsters in on loan?

You do whatever you have to do to improve the squad. If the Spurs youngsters are able to improve us and available then great. Would also show our development lads the level they should aspire to get to.

On the other side of the coin, do many drop down the leagues whilst still remaining good footballers? TC has been a workhorse for us, and with that level as a bar, I'd be happy to a more experienced loanee if they could do the job?
