With the fixtures being published on Wednesday and already knowing we will be away on August 5th,
Who do people want us to visit on the opening day?

Oxford. Nice, easy away trip. 3 points, maybe gives us the confidence for a positive start to the season, not the usual crap?

One of the relegated teams before they get their act together in a month or so. Not Pompey under any circumstances!

Bury 1st game would be good, because they have so many new players they won't have a clue who's who in their own team and we'll do them 4 - 0.

Charlton's a shout - complete dissaray there at the mo ? I know they didn't end the season particularly well but is there something else I am not aware of? They should have a lot of money to spend after selling Lookman for £10mil in Jan (granted some of that £10mil is likely to be add ons etc)

I've gone for Charlton, they have bought a lot of (good) players so play them early before they get into their stride!

Doesn't always work like that remember. Pretty sure our last 1st game of the season win was with our Lord and saviour Paul Buckle in charge with Gas greats such as Virgo, Bevan and Gill on the pitch

A few Charlton supporters I know told me he spent a large portion of that transfer fee they received on a yacht for his son's birthday! haha

I wanted Arsenal away...but wasn't an option...they are usually hopeless at home for the first few games.
