18 yards is way to far out for tap in Tammy to score.
Well done to them for reaching the semi finals.
Though I do not know what connection this thread has to do with Rovers ?
Penalties have always been from 12 yards if I remember correctly. No wonder I always lost penalty competitions as a kid...

Just saw on OTIB one of their more intelligent posters posed the question (to gasheads making fun of Tammy) "Ask them when the last time was that a player who'd spent the season playing for them went on to play for an England team that summer"
Err, how about Jake Clarke-Salter...and he actually won a tournament.

To be honest. Whether he played for the sh** or not would have been good to see another England team win something...BUT it was a sh** penalty, must have learnt it from Matty.

Bastards............First off, I have to take stick from my six-year old son, who is basically a German. Next, I have to run the gauntlet in work. Happy feckin Wednesday eh !
Don't forget, in the Confederations Cup, the oldest German player is 23. This wasn't anywhere near the normal German U-21 team! That is why for England, players like Rashford should have been playing. It gives them experience of tournament football. Success breeds success, and this is one of the most basic reasons for the success of the German national team.......every young player would give their right arms to be part of the Senior team/squad. They are all desperate to get there and be part of the success. I sometimes think the English players don't have that same hunger, because the English national team is associated with failure.

I have given up on the national team many years ago, probably at the same time Premiership clubs started spending millions on foreign talent rather than bring through their own homegrown stars.
Spain U21's would have wiped the floor with us anyhow, England always have class players, but rarely world class players like the Germans, Spanish and Italians have.
