Wael has already tweeted a fan saying Lambert is "not an option" for DC. Where is this, I can't find it - certainly not recently anyway. If it was a while back then perhaps it wasn't an option then - a lot has changed now It was a twitter DM rather than a tweet.

DM is a private message between 2 Twitter users, only they can see it. Whereas a Tweet can be viewed by everybody who follows the person who Tweeted. It was much easier when we just relied on Ceefax!

Our current strike force leaves me with no confidence that we'll do well this season! In fact i think we'll find ourselves in a dog fight as i cant see us scoring goals. Take taylors goals away from us last season and we would of been no where near where we finished. Sign up lambert its garenteed goals until we can find another player to come in and fill the boots. Not sure I'd agree with this. Of course we'll miss his goals but we got as many points after he left as we did when he was here. The problem before he left was we needed to score 3 to win once Sweeney & Lumley arrived & we tightened up we started to win without having to score a boat load. It's that Sweeney position that's bothering me more than a striker. Without a big dominating centre back we are shocking defensively.

I assume this is supposed to be Burn though Burn is cover for Locks. DC likes to play a right footer and a left footer together. TL and JB are both right-sided players.

So basically we can't give any real weight to what one person says another person said about another's opinion at an unspecified time on something that was in all probability only hypothetical?

Unless someone took a screen print and the DM then becomes public if they publish it somewhere. Which totally defeats the object of having a personal DM conversation!

I'm pretty sure we averaged more points after we sold Taylor, then we did with him in the side. I might be wrong, I think we averaged more goals with him gone too.

With Taylor P29 W12 D6 L11 F48 A50 GD-2 Pts 42 Pts per game: 1.45 Without Taylor P17 W6 D6 L5 F20 A20 GD0 Pts 24 Pts per game: 1.41 Not much in it as regards points per game and goal difference. We clearly set up differently after he left, scoring and conceding less goals as a result of placing more emphasis on our defence.

Loved that! bamboozle was on channel 4 text if I remember correctly as were the cinema listings and times..... don't know if you ever tried it but there were 40 pages of cinema listings, bridgend, Bridgewater, then one small lapse of concentration without pressing the hold button and it was Cardiff, followed by an intense 15 minutes of geography lesson whist waiting for the Bristol page to reappear....

Ahhhh yes you may be right. I bow down to your superior knowledge of digital text suppliers Mr Moderator Sir. I do remember the cinema listings! if twitter had been available then I may have used the hashtag #FML more often!
