Apparently Ware Homes have first dibbs Is that Ware home as in Ex-Director Ed Ware? Surprised at the type of developments, size wise, he's now involved in, his latest developments seem similar to the size of the plot of land at the Mem. www.edwardware.co.uk/developments/previous-developments

I was in The Miles last night for a few, and was in the café this morning for some brekkie, not one person had heard about this "rumour". Considering the OP said everyone in Avonmouth village was talking about it...... Back in the 80's I played in an Avonmouth based band using the skittle alley in the Avonmouth Hotel for rehearsing and some friends from Lawrence Weston had a little rhyme about the Miles.
The g--ls of the 'Mouth be buxom, We takes 'em for walks and we fux 'em, And in between whiles we sits in the Miles And they pulls out 'ar cox an they sux 'em.

Not happening? I am shocked, it seemed like the most plausible bs on here all summer. Oh well I fully expect £20k a week Rickie Lambert to sign this week that one is deffo true. UTG.

I don't think you get to start a rumour and then decide that that rumour you started isn't a rumour any more. That's not how rumours work. It's bigger than you now thegasfc, it's a living thing - you don't get to choose if it's happen or not.

Avonmouth would be the perfect location for IKEA. Can't we buy a bit of land and do a land swap with them? Just musing...
