Since the snake has left us for his new bench warming role with the sh**, we don't seem to have a number 1 penalty taker? Who do people think will step and take them for us this year? I don't like polls so I couldn't be bothered with that. I suppose that Ellis will want to take them but I don't think he's going to be on the pitch that often if / when we sign a 4th striker. Billy Bob for me personally, not sure about the new boy Tom does he take them? Brown used to take them, Lines a candidate? Now on the off chance we did sign Sir Ricky there would be no question!
Thoughts???

That is one thing that Gaffney has always had over him and why Gaffney is just ahead of him for me for now.

Penalties you can take a pick really, of strikers who look good in practice and Bodin for me again.

In my opinion, gaffeny is miles ahead of Ellis, I really don't know what he brings to the table. I'm sick of hearing "he's only young ". You have to have desire, unfortunately he doesn't. He's gonna get left behind if he can't find some.

Ellis or Bodin for me.
I'm a fan of Ellis' no nonsense thump down the middle technique.
Problem with giving BB the role is it's only going to bring more interest in him as his goal tally will improve. Tough player to replace if/when we lose him

Bodin for me, not many players can comfortably pick out top corner under pressure, if he had took the Peterborough pen it could had been a totally different finish to the season

Hopefully Nicholls will take them as I can never understand why a striker, who's paid to score goals, isn't prepared to take pens.

People forget that Gaffers went through a terrible run last year where he completely lost his form and confidence.

We have 4 or 5 players in the squad who I would be comfortable with taking a penalty.
Nice problem to have.
