Sadly there's no sign they have given Rovers even a penny of their money, perhaps that's the way investors work but there's no real evidence they are prepared to invest millions in the club. As far as the OP pretty pointless saying how long will it take to build a new stadium w/o any problems as every stadium we've tried to build as hit some kind of a problem. Apart from the fact we no longer have a debt with a commercial lender. Oh no you don't ... you're not dragging me into your made up world of thought facts that easily. See UWE News Last Month thread for details.

how quick can we build a new stadium if we were to buy the land today and if there are no problems ( i.e legal challenges) ? Wake up and smell the coffee we are stuck at the Mem with no chance of a new stadium.the only difference between this boars and the last is this one is better are p.r The club is miles better in every place than under the previous owners. Stadium or no stadium, I feel like the club is actually in good hands.

If the club are serious about building a new ground they could pop down to Avon mouth this afternoon, meet with some land agents and buy a plot today! There's plenty on offer there and no doubt would not entail planning problems which would obviously occur from the residents of places like Emerson's Green etc.

and a better run club with better staff than the previous pile of crap that ran the club into the ground As I said smoke and mirrors they are better at p.r.than Higgs was.all we can see is they have bought some land and increased the club's debt to match the market value of the mem. Where is the proof we are better run? New hand driers in the toilet More backroom staff A new caravan serving drinks Increased outlay on non playing staff increasing the debt In my view no better than last lot.just wish Denis Dunford was still around Two promotions.

[br Both under the auspices of the old board.this regime have only owned the club since january/febuary 2016 when we already had 1 promotion and they inherited the management and players that got the 2nday so no real input in either

Why did the plans to re-develop the mem to 18,000 fall through?

Why did the plans to re-develop the mem to 18,000 fall through? The company who were going to build the student accommodation (and therefore pay for the stadium) pulled out. Ironically, building student housing since then has been a growth industry.
