I must admit this is one of most ambiguous interviews ive read/ not definitive yes or now. Very open ended. It's pretty definitive. He said it's not happening but never say never.

Im not going translate everything he says as if it has a double meaning. I'm not asking you to. Just telling you the way I took what he said there. It wouldn't at all surprise me to see us agree a deal together at the very last minute as it is in both parties interests to come to an agreement, whatever that may be. I want whatever you have been eating and drinking today to remain this optimistic. This would have to be one of the most unbelievable/ albeit slightly unprofessional bluffs of all time, if we some how reach an agreement. I wouldn't be able to stop myself stand up and clap my hands very slowly in disbelief.

Depends how you take it. He isn't going to say there may be a chance of it still happening if we are playing chess with UWE or still thinks there is a chance.

For those just joining us, here is an update to summarise so far:
"It's definitely over. But it might not be. But it is over. But you never know in football."
"The finance is there. We need a new stadium. We could redevelop the Mem. No decision yet. Could do it though. But we haven't decided for certain yet. Problem is no land available. But no decision yet. But realistically the Mem could be redeveloped. But might not be. Needs to stack up."

It's like a never ending comedy show, except for gasheads it's not funny. A farce.

Me thinks we ought to 'kick it in the head now'.

Id have much more respect if they came out and said they have no serious money to put into the club, cant bring us a new stadium so will cut losses and find someone who can to take control. Wael should have took the press conference, even via video link, not his puppet.

'Steve Hamer with many Swansea City supporters has little if any credibility. I think the final negative has to be the time he came to speak to The Midlands Avon & Gloucester Swans in Cheltenham in 1997. He was very convincing. The next day he got on a coach leaving the town full of Swansea people heading towards Sunderland to see the structure of the new stadium. A good friend of mine on the coach heard the following conversation "So Steve how did you get on with The MAGS" The reply went "I put up with three hours of bullshit and gave them three hours back."

Or a deal with bristol sport for a stadium for bristol rugby

I been saying on this forum and the old forum for the 7 years. The club is unable to have the vision to produce a top quality stadium or even revamp of present ground. I say this because we haven't built a stand since 1959 which is a shocking reality. Also every single project ( 6 ) since 1997 have failed or involved disputes and conflict. Therefore: I think we should give up and not waste anymore time money or divisions with the fans.
My solution ( as stated in 2011) is a humble one for families and young people. We should build a new south stand and apply to the football trust for a grant. It's the best and most realistic and could increase the MEM to around 13000 plus. I would give up on the rest and focus on unity and the playing squad. currently: families don't get offered very good provision in family stand and it would address this issue.
So a small new south stand and never ever again talk of stadiums or big revamps ..

What surprises me about this forum for all the intelligent and not so intelligent on here ,no one has yet worked out where the "leak" ultimately came from, work that one out and you will know we are being fed bullsh1t The leak came from CB on FB, he seemed to get it from somebody who works for Rovers who hasn't been paid recently by the club, unless he was talking BS then, if so, where did the leak come from? The other source could be the UWE but I don't see what they have to gain or it's BS?
