IMO he seems to be underestimating those left wing ***** at BCC who are hell bent on holding Bristol back and blaming every body else as they go about wasting tax payers hard earned cash e.g. the failed arena project. Raddice and that ******** librarian and those ***** in the planning office et el will be creaming the tax payers with whole rake of court cases and public enquiries, ffs I do not know whether WAQ knows what he is letting himself in for. One thing I know is the MEM will not be developed any time soon, Rovers will continue to be a selling club and we will get behind the team as we always do watching abstract Div 3 and at times Div 4 football. Here we go again, 1986 revisited.

Without Wael, would we still have DC? Would we still have Bodin? Would we have 10x amount of staff we do now? including sport science, which may I add is clearly doing a great job judging by the extremely low injury list! Would we have submitted planning application for new training ground? Would we have Hamer, who saw the transition of swansea to their new stadium in 2005? NOOOOO, so quit being little girls whispering in the playground. Best thing since sliced bread, has become one of us, what owner do you know who stands in the terraces with the crowd? his brother last game of the season during promotion at half time came into the blackthorn end for the second half.. im thrilled with the family and THANK YOU so much for finding out that this deal was not right for OUR club! saved us from a right wolf in sheeps clothing! Suggest you get your facts straight before slagging everyone off on here. Plans for the Training Ground have not been submitted - Hamer left Swansea in 2000. Don't see why people are all het up about facts suddenly. Perfectly OK to berate our owner, his entire family, the chairman and their morals a few days ago without a shred of facts, based purely on people's own prejudices and opinions it seemed to me.

On June 1st he assured fans that there was nothing to suggest the stadium won’t happen. I'm also sure he's payed well enough, I wouldn't worry too much.

Wael has spoken. He has said what we are going to do, yet still there are doubts and problems and negativity. That negative mindset is infectious ya know. Why not wait and see before stacking problems up? I assume 79 in your user name is your DOB, if so, you will need to live though a few more failed stadium projects yet before realising you doubt anything any owner says about a new stadium project, I've been 50/50 on whether we would agree a deal with the UWE, I'm 10/90 that we'll get a fully re-developed Mem in the next 5 years, 25/75 that we get a new east side grand stand in that time frame.

Oh right. Have there been that many failed bids prior to 86? On the contrary to your doubt point. How does our owner stack up against the likes of NH, GD?! Time will tell.

We own the land, and will have no issues with the training ground. as sir Wael said, we have are own land, why would we up sticks and move to somewhere which isnt our land, when we have a beautiful spot of land which we own its entirety. Well, I can think of one issue apart from plans not being filed, there is little chance of it being ready for pre-season 2018-19 despite what Hamer said a few months ago. Another broken promise. When do you think development work might start then Sipirate?

Well subject to a £10 million charge so the family can get their money back if worse come to worst.

Here we go again, 1986 revisited. Didn't Bristol city council give permission for a new north stand to be built and then also a whole stadium rebuild ? Rovers have also gained permission for a stadium at UWE.
Im not aware of any other club that has had plans given the green light for TWO stadiums AND a stand and built none of them !
Its BRFC that are not getting it right not the local authorities in the last 20 years.
