Premier League teams join the newly rebranded League Cup on Thursday night as 50 teams learn their second round fate.
All 13 of the top-flight clubs without European football commitments this season, along with relegated pair Hull City and Middlesbrough, are entered into the fray after a 70-club strong first round.
The first round saw the draw split into a 'Northern' and 'Southern' section to minimalise travel times from players and fans, but no such restrictions exist from now on.
London foursome West Ham, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Brentford are seeded, joining last season's finalist Southampton, as unseeded pair Millwall and Barnet hope for a kind draw. Q When and where is the draw?
The draw will take place in Monaco on Thursday, August 10. The ceremony is scheduled to start at around 10pm, following Bury vs Sunderland.
How can I watch the draw?
The draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports News.

City won 5-0 but didn't make the 2nd round draw. I like this years format.

Maybe just hope we get through next round then play a big team after.

The draw will take place in Monaco on Thursday, August 10. Monaco?! Yes. The first round was drawn in the far East, can't remember, Singapore or thereabouts. Did they not bugger up the draw in someway, think they did? Obviously a jolly for a few from the Football league!

Anyone else at home then we stand a chance of going through.

West Ham away to see the Olympic stadium would be the only exciting one IMO. Anyone else at home then we stand a chance of going through. Not for me. Football and Olympic stadiums should be separate. In the event that West Ham United are drawn at home in Round Two of the Carabao Cup then they will be given special dispensation by the EFL Board to play the fixture at the opposition’s venue, due to a previously agreed arrangement that London Stadium was to stage the 2017 IAAF World Championships in August. If the draw dictates this is required, then the EFL Board will determine a level of compensation to be paid by West Ham to the opposing club. No further 2017/18 Carabao Cup ties will be affected in the event that the Hammers progress in the competition and are drawn at home. An EFL spokesman said: “The Board of the EFL has carefully considered a request from West Ham United and, given the circumstances they faced when relocating to their new stadium, felt it was wholly appropriate to agree to a fixture reversal.” The Carabao Cup Round Two draw will take place live on Sky Sports News on Thursday 10 August 2017, following the Bury versus Sunderland televised Round One tie. The 13 Premier League clubs not competing in UEFA competitions will enter the competition at Round Two, along with Hull City and Middlesbrough from the Sky Bet Championship. Home or away, how does the draw work? If the seeded clubs are drawn from a hat first they will all play at home or vice versa If all clubs are put in the same hat then seeded clubs could be drawn against each other or vice versa.

For the first round they had a bag oh 'H' and 'A' balls and and drew one after the seeded team to determine home or away
