With all the grandiose statements this week about the " regeneration " of the Memorial Stadium, do you think Wael/Family/associates have approached Bristol City Council and give them a broad outline of their plans before going public to get a feel for any response ??
maybe time for us all to approach our councillors and ask the same question.............

I really wouldn't know who my Councillor was. When I find out, I'll ask.

Perhaps not plans but consultations yes. I will rephrase. Real plans to draw up real plans? No investor goes into a multi million pound deal without options.

No. Do you think there was a broad outline before he went public? The only broad outline he could've found were the previous plans left by the old board. But I here there may have been a lot of papers disposed of before the Al Qs got the keys.

Wael & Co being Real Business people, i would hope they had consulted with Bristol City Council before going public if they are serious about the project, as they would look real dorks if BCC came out and said No !

If we asked would they councilors a) know b) if they did divulge what would I assume be confidential conversations?
But I doubt they've been approached anyway? It sounds to me Plan B has been given any great thought, if GT is still interviewing Wael tomorrow perhaps that's a good question to ask, have you approached BCC, if so, how likely to give pp? Plus how much is the regeneration likely to cost and is funding already in place?

With their background there would have been backup plan after backup plan after backup plan discussed, discussed again. Of course there's a backup plan.
