What are the plans? How soon can we expect to hear about plans to rebuild the Mem? Capacity aim? Why didnt UWE go ahead? I would like to think, Wael and Co have all go together, pulled thier finger out and our trying to crack on with it.

All talk of new ground or redeveloping the the men is a waste of time as most of us will be dead before anything changes. The UWE project rolled on for such a long time and at the end f**k all. The sh** are watering themselves and have every right - what a mess. Very depressed at our situation. It's all about the team now for me and nothing else.

And they shouldn't be at this stage.

The owners know.
An 18,500 stadium with other facilities will fit on the site. An 18,500 stadium with other facilities was given planning consent.
They have most likely asked their stadium advisors/designers some basic outlines of what can realistically be achieved on the site. Would these outlines require any other considerations that were not taken for the original plans. Wael commented that the Mem site is exactly the same as that for Evertons 40,157 Goodison park. which has a record attendance of over 78,000 !....imagine that on Filton avenue . Goodison has housing right around the ground.

No. Do you think there was a broad outline before he went public?
The only broad outline he could've found were the previous plans left by the old board. But I here there may have been a lot of papers disposed of before the Al Qs got the keys. Wael & Co being Real Business people, i would hope they had consulted with Bristol City Council before going public if they are serious about the project, as they would look real dorks if BCC came out and said No ! Just spoken to my councillor who says yes and the landing lights are on

They've had nearly as many problems as us in doing so (not quite as many but then I doubt if anyone has!). UTG!
