I can confirm that a major event will be announced at the mem @ 15:06. The Worlds Press and TV stations as well as representatives from the British Govt will be in attendance. The event is in total secrecy, but an insider from the "corridors of power" has confirmed that the Alien space craft will be welcomed with open arms and the occupants will be presented with last seasons away shirt and the winner of the recent Pie tasting. DC said he is not available to attend as he has a training course to attend on how to improve his media skills....

I understand he may have a allegedly very large tax bill after the investigations into certain overseas tax accounts....

I assume you haven't been following Rovers for that long then? The first game I remember was somewhere in 1987 and I am 36 - so not long... What has that got to do with this thread, or the price of eggs? I ont know; but I believe it's now safe to eat them soft-boiled.

As much as I hate them, making stuff up about them is a bit too far. Why would anyone on this forum have access to information on something like this.

Nick writes a good article and that is no different. The caveat here being that we (or at least I) don't know enough details of the proposed deal with UWE to ascertain if we did actually dodge a bullet or not. That said, a lot of what is in that article is probably a fair and reasonable judgement of where our club is at and where it could have been at. Quite scary when it's retrospectively laid out in black and white like that. Oh and by the way, your avatar is repulsive...
