I'd love to see the stats on how much running/how many sprints both Harrison and Gaffney make in a game. They all wear those vests now so DC will definitely know. I think Gaffney (Sinclair does similar) will tear after a seemingly lost cause more often and the fans love those moments and remember them, but overall can anyone say for definite that Ellis is lazy?

Don't agree he is lazy and I bet he ran a lot more than any Peterborough player because they stuck to their positions and pressurised us as a group with all their players pushing up. Ellius and Nicholls and whoever plays up front for us has the job of chasing four players around knowing they have very little chance of winning the ball and our midfield players are generally miles away. I reckon that Ellis would score goals if he played for Peterborough or any team who0 actually play with wingers who can cross a ball.

Against Posh we had Brown bombing on and he whipped in numerous crosses Harrison should have got on the end of. Our goal from Gaffney was an inch perfect Brown cross. EH was handed an easy golden opportunity to score from 6 yards out but he didn't have the required composure and blasted over the bar.

I can.. I've watched him loads, gives up to easily, gets forced off, of balls he should be retaining... if he used his strength just half the time the Posh front two did at the weekend we might have got something out of the game.

The Posh pressed all over the pitch, no chance any of our players got anywhere near their workload... maybe Sinclair, but I didn't keep an eye on him.

We have signed 2 strikers plus the 2 already at the club, time will tell if the clubs you mention all have better strikers, well sort of because obviously the whole teams involved. I think we have spent most of our budget already so we will just have to see what happens. It's clear they have signed better strikers than Harrison and Gaffney, not that it would be difficult - McAleney, Ajose, Beckford, Ball, Pitman, Marriott, Miller, Toney. You might be right, apart from bury there clubs fancied to do well and ive already had a thread on here suggesting we may have a difficult season. We can only rebuild our team in stages imo as it would cost to much otherwise. That said were only 2 games into the season and we paid approx 250-300k for a striker and spent good money on other players and development signings. Were you expecting us to spend millions of pounds?

How did we ever get out of the conference and league 2 with this dc bloke??? then somehow we finished 10th in league 1 using that strange game that dosnt involve a high press? It dosnt make sense to me but we are bottom after 2 matches so you must be totally correct surely? Bristol city play the system you love so much so they will without doubt win the championship this season.

The talk of racism is total boll*cks. Why would racism only extend to Ellis and not Leads etc? I don't rate Ellis or Lines so am I a racist for that? By the way, Ellis has a one year deal. The reason he gets so much stick is because he's lazy and can't hit a barn door with a proverbial. He tackles back a couple of times a season so that makes him not lazy? Yer avin a larf. Whats the vibe on ellis in the corridors of power?

Were you expecting us to spend millions of pounds? I thought after raking in £600k from the Taylor deal/Chelsea match last season and having the super dooper *cough* mega rich owners we might have shown a statement of intent and splashed out over £1 mil on fees. What I did expect was to sign a higher calibre of player and not still be scratching about looking for a winger and defensive midfielder etc etc.

[br Considering that dc has stated he is only looking for a defensive midfielder and a wide man then obviously the manageright rates him as his number one target man above gaffney What's the saying on here? Oh yes in dc we trust. How can you quote that regularly then call his choice of players into question? It doesn't make sense unless it's only trust when it suits

One person says "in DC in trust" so that means everyone has said it. 😕
