Never started a thread but have just read on BBC website that the draw for the third round of the League Cup will take place in China on Thursday at 04:15 in the morning our time! To fit in with far eastern audiences I presume. What contempt the EFL must have for fans in this country if the audience in the Far East is more important. Just another chipping away of our football heritage. I'm sure it will go largely unnoticed but it annoys me! The way the EFL are treating fans is almost as bad as the PL clubs pricing football out of the range of normal fans. So set your alarm clocks....not! What will the draw throw up, we probably won't be involved but that's not the point? Fulham or Bristol Rovers v Shanghai United. Rant over! UTG!

I know what you are saying but in the grand scheme of things finding out a few hours later wont harm me personally. Cant remember the last time I even saw or heard a draw live anyway.
All about money though isn't it; football has too much of it, yet for them, not enough of it.

All about money though isn't it; football has too much of it, yet for them, not enough of it. It's too much about the money. When you hear about the wages the Premiership backs up and allows, it's disgraceful. 1 weeks wages for Rooney pretty much pays our players, could save a lower league club from going out of existence, it makes my stomach turn.

LMW you are right but that's not the point. I don't listen to them but I'm not sure that your average Chinese fan will either but as you've said and others it's about the money. Just p**** off about it! UTG!

It is all a bit strange, ,I think the first round draw was done in Thailand. I guess its all corporate agreements due to the sponsorship.
I see that twat Shaun Harvey was heavily involved again so that may explain a few things.

The 3rd round, what's that? It's when your 2 mates are thirsty and it's your turn to go to the bar. I normally get in a round with 7 other people and on the 7th round I order a Horlicks, then when's it's my round I'm asleep.

Now, it annoys me even more. Who do we want? Bournemouth here would suit me but obviously perhaps a big side. UTG!

Wait for the stellar tie v Man U and for Rovers to announce tickets on sale to personal buyers only!
Still no online away ticket sales, Hamer and a wael taking their eye of the day to day rubbings!

Two cock ups in the draw for the first two rounds. I wonder what will go wrong this time? Apparently they are playing it safe this draw and shooting the balls out of 2 Chinese gymnasts muffs, with David James catching them.
