Well im going.
However im not looking forward to what might happen if we go 1 down.
Really concerning to think how the atmosphere will turn if that happens, and im sure the players are thinking the same thing.
Its about bloody time we hammered someone, ala the 6-0 against Hereford a few seasons ago

I'll be getting up early 4.45am kick off here. I'm not sure we'll do a six nil. But Wrexham haven't had that great a start to the season. They've won away, but lost at home and let in a few goals. We can win this.

It is up to the manager to turn negativity in the terrace into strength for his players. The nature of the sport is win/winning=happy. Lose/losing=unhappy. It is wrong to think that just because we are losing that we can't turn it around. Everybody else seems to do it.

If you're looking for a hammering, it won't be tonight. I think we'll win but it'll be a hard worked 1-0 or 2-1.

Hey, I hope you're right as I never want us to lose but this lot seem to be so bad that I can't help but think we will get turned over a few times. We are here for a good while. Best get used to it

To be fair, the last time we played Wrexham was nearly 7 years ago. We lost 1-0 at the Mem, before going on *that* run which saw us sneak into the League 2 play-offs.
Wrexham have been far from convincing this season, same as us really. Scrappy 1-0 and 2-1 wins, whilst conceding a lot of goals in other games. They've had a much easier start on paper compared to us too. Forest Green on Saturday was probably their first 'impressive' result of the season.
Whilst it will be a difficult game, I'd be very surprised if we were 'turned over'. I think it will all come down to who gets the ball down and controls the game from the start.

The negativity, whining and bitching makes the football less enjoyable than the football itself. I have a grumble and moan about things but not at a volume where it has any impact on the team.

A scientific study has shown that it is great to get on the player's backs, didn't you know?! It does their confidence the world of good. I went away to a game a couple of years ago and this one bloke in front of me was calling Craig Stanley all sorts of names even before the game had kicked off. I thought 'what the f**k are you doing here?, You come all this way just to shout abuse?!' Strange how some people get their kicks. The only times I may shout something is if I feel that a player isn't pulling their weight on the pitch. Anyinsah was a good example.

It seems we've got a pretty honest bunch this time around, and with them being a confidence team, encouragement would make all the difference. Unlikely to change these days, though. DC has stated he will get us in the top 5. A bold, brave statement. I'm happy to give him the season and let him fall on his sword if he fails. It would be good if everyone could give him that chance and give the team every chance by getting behind them. People talk about how crap we are, yet before Braintree we still achieved 7 points from 9. Win tonight and it's 10 points from 15, or win the league form. Two games ago DC had earn't some time, one bad result (where we were very unfortunate despite the performance dropping later) and it's back to DC out. Plenty of teams even at the top of league two looked pretty average, the lower leagues seem to be more about effort and organisation. Barnet might have played some good football but they got relegated...

Ah right, so it's ok to shout at a player sometimes but not all the time. Got it. Also it depends on how you feel. Righto.

Happy to give him the season? Not great if he has clearly lost the plot in January though? His ambitious statements will lose any credibility he still has if it goes tits up.

At Altrincham, some old to55er was calling Brunt a lazy C*** all game. I was actually embarrassed, particularly when Brunt was about 10 yards from the bloke at points during the second half. This is a guy who spent his own money on a training/rehab programme in the USA. Lack of effort is inexcusable but I don't think you can label any of this bunch as lazy. Not good enough maybe, but not lazy.

Not good enough maybe, but not lazy. Are they not good enough or is Clarke not getting the best out of them? Negativity will get us nowhere, imagine going into work and having to hear everyone moan when things are not going so well. Be positive, we all know it is hard with what we are going through as gasheads but it must be hell for the players to keep their heads up when all is groaning.
