That's hilarious. It doesn't settle anything coz the lines you draw are supposed to be parallel to the lines on the pitch. Look at the grass-mower lines. Should be more like this: But then you should draw the line from the defenders head as that's his closest part of his body towards goal I'll admit I cocked that one up my bad I was rushing it but hey ho we all make mistakes, but the first screen when the ball is actually played he is onside which is the one that counts From that Tv angle difficult to judge pitchside you would see a different perspective

Should be more like this: Neither of you are allowing for perspective properly. Also the 15 appears to be standing at a 45 degree angle!
