did she streak as promised? Unfortunately, in all the excitement of Ellis' goal my feet got tangled up in my blanket, and by the time I was ready to make my move they had already kicked off again. Great day out for me, my faith in Ellis is bearing fruit. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Ellis was dynamic when he came on. A real handful for their tiring defenders and tracked back to make some telling headers to help our defence.
Delighted to see him so threatening. Three good games on the trot - keep it up Ellis.

Uwe Roslers Cod army haha. what a pathetic away support - 91 I think - for a team with 3 wins out of 3 !

It's an incredible achievement for them to be near the top of League 1. We were all wetting our pants just to get back to that level quite recently. Just a shame the locals don't support them more. I wouldn't expect hundreds to travel, but 91 is very poor.

Same ...just got in and very similar thoughts to you .... Thought Slocombes handling was excellent ... one crazy moment went unpunished but otherwise Manuel Neur esque. Brown ... I was disappointed with his distribution and caught out too many times against a very quick strike force. would give Bola a run. Lockyer / Sweeney ...both ok but passing constantly in the air to Gaffney was not thought through. Fleetwood were actually practising headers 45 minutes before kick off her time and time again the ball got lumped up to RG. Partington .. Excellent ... very impressed . Sinclair ... Scored a goal but we looked better once Lines came on to steady a very average Ollie Clarke. Clarke .. Gave the ball away too many times but better second half. his booking was an appalling refereeing error as it was an outstanding tackle. Bodin... Busy all game and a tremendous strike for the second goal Sercombe ..Industrious and got better as the game progressed. Gaffney ... Worked his socks off and got kicked, pulled , jostled by their Impresssive No 5 and No6 Nicholls... Worked really hard ... but is a striker and needs to be given the chance Harrison ... Spoke to him before the game and wished him luck. Great goal, great shot a few minutes later and looks confident. Thought playing him and Gaffney upfront pushed Fleetwood back and was our best spell in the second half. Byron Moore ... No idea why he came on, added little and Telford would have been a better option. Fleetwood looked decent, organised and quick on the ball.Devante Cole looked excellent and I liked Dempsey their No8 And Hunter their No22 . To bring 91 fans ( we only counted 68) is a joke though. Why is bringing 91 fans a joke? You ever been to Fleetwood?! Yes we played them last season I was there ... you were probably on the forum on match day boosting your posts with the usual sh**e!

No, I was there. Could you please refrain from the insults though as I don't see them as being neccessary.

Enjoyed a very tense and tight game today. We scored the goals at the right time and deserved to win. Gaffney and bodin were the pick of a very good team performance for me.

Brilliant team performance and well-deserved 3 points.
Lots of good individual performances in there but particularly thrilled for Ellis. What a great week for him.
Hope Sinclair's injury isn't too serious.
UTG!

I think you will find that I'm quite the style icon down in the South Stand. It's only a matter of time before more people are wearing zip front woollen tops. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion, but it looks good on you.

Great to see the west tent looking pretty full today along with south tent. It really is becoming a busy corner over there. Meanwhile behind me on the dribuild, they've invested in a new corrugated plastic roof for the wheelchair zone. That's the Bodin money already spent then 😜

Thing is if those fans sang their hearts out and supported their club through the bad times and good then that's better than 18,000 fickle twats that would quickly become 2000 when the sh** hit the fan and we all know who I'm talking about. Fleetwood are a well run club from a tiny area with a small loyal fan base and fair play to them they have attracted some good players because their set up is top class for this level. If they win promotion this season or next and I think they will then I hope they beat the sh** . UTG

Can't remember who crossed it (Partington?) but that was a very good cross to him. I thought Partington was outstanding today, put in two brilliant crosses and was solid at the back. A fully deserved mom performance. Wasn't there today , I'm on holiday but everyone I've spoken to said he was MOM . Good to hear , I hope he can stay fit because he's clearly a very good player who's had problems with injury and that's why he's playing lower league football. A risk worth taking I reckon , his attitude is spot on too in his interviews he talks like a leader and he's got DC written all over him.
