What is it 1 An escaped snake called Matty 2 An item that was blocking the sewer at the Mem 3 Something that lives Balders under crackers 4 An item that costs £2.50 from the pasty hut and is reportedly something you can eat (which I didnt) It looked like it had been cooked several times before I bought it, the pastry, if you could call it that, was so dry that it had become brittle, the contents which was I suppose was supposed to be a sausage was shunk from being overcooked that it looked like..........well I am lost for words to describe the contents. Suffice to say I returned it to the hut and gave it to the "supervisor " who offered to exchange it for another one, when I answered no, she looked surprised why would I want another another one, I demanded and got a refund. Now there have been many many complaints about the price of the food at the Mem, which are a rip off, but now it seems that we can pay exorbitant prices for discusting quality food as well. I will be contacting the club to ask who runs the catering and try to talk to who ever it is. I was also wondering just how many of the staff in the huts has completed the level 2 food handling course, which is a legal requirement. Attachment Deleted

My boy used his free pasty token and will probably never eat another pasty. They rank disgusting. And to think at one point the pasties were very good.

I gave my free pasty token to my son, as I won't use it now that they've taken veggie pasties off the menu. He got a sausage roll, which he described as "rank" and was glad that he hadn't paid for it.

Yep. In the absence of balti pies my lad tried a steak pie. Won't be going back for another.
All the food on offer at the Mem huts is utterly awful.
We used to have some of the best food. I bring sandwiches now and eat just after I've parked. Tenner saved.

Some of us leave home around midday and don't get home until half six. Best part of 6 or 7 hours out the house for a home game. Plenty on here have longer days than that. Reasonable food isn't too much to expect. £3.50 for a sh** pasty is not really on. I can get a lovely pasty at my local bakery for £2.

There's the answer to your problem then Hugo , go to the bakery enroute to the mem , something before the game and something for travelling home . 😋

I just can't believe the pasty huts don't have any change for a fifty
That's the most disappointing thing for me

They've tried to burn the sausage out of it to make it a vegan option.

The pasty's etc have been heated in a nuclear reactor for a few years now. Now take my own catering supplies with me, the club's loss not mine. It's a pity the club don't appear to take any notice of what would appear to be a lot of dissatisfied gasheads on this issue. You expect to pay over the odds for food at outside events etc, but when it's overpriced and over cooked it's unacceptable. It's a pity our fans directors are more than ever very noticeably absent and not taking these issues up with the club on our behalf. Having said that one of them has only ever been one by name only and I am led to believe that the one who did communicate via the forums and at matches on a regular basis is no longer doing so, for what reason/s we have not been told. It seems a great pity because he was very approachable and this seems to be yet another case of poor communication from the powers that be.
