grow up and act like a man and not a child Its a free country and people can support their how they see fit and Yes i'm a scab because i support my team at their hour of need Hour of need? Will you be found cackling over the twitching carcass of lower league football glaring at the knife you plunged into its heart? Shame on you. I think you will find it's ok to slit it's throat and leave it to die in this Land but no heart stabbing allowed.

Oh yes a terrible crime, I think the 66 should be sentenced to public castration at the very least! It could be worse they could be going to watch the sh** on their day off? Oh wait a minute..............

66 scabbing scabs, supporting $hitty soccer. Serious Shame silly suckers. BOYCOTT. I will be at the home games supporting MY team, shame on you for not doing the same But are you supporting the long term future of the club as a league side, that is surely the bigger picture here particularly when our own club voted against taking part? PS I feel the title of this thread is totally inappropriate as surely we can have a civil conversation about the issues w/o dramatic name calling?

Well Topper my fellow poster, i'm a simple man with simple tastes and i don't give a flying F##k about the "bigger" picture as i cannot undo what the tarts at the top have decided is good for football. By me not attending a game is not going to effect the outcome of what they have decided so why should i penalise myself for something i have no control over or have any interest in

They don't tell you how to spend your money, so why would you tell them how to spend their own?
I hate the format BTW, but we're all free to support the Had any way we like.

It's a personal choice and don't need anyone to tell me what to do or what I am for doing it. I don't agree with the way Premiership academies are allowed to milk off the cream of lower clubs for a pittance or huge amounts of moneys being paid out to utter failures who get relegated , or the way the loan market has gone which means lower clubs having to run squads which they can't really afford - all good reasons for not supporting a football club against the powers that be. To conclude I am one of the 66 that will be there tonight cheering on my team and neither respect or disrespect others who decide one way or the other.

I understand people want to support the team, but I can't get my head round why people would want to watch this bastardised competition that has had it's meaning taken away
Hoping for more crap attendance figures tonight, but a lot of the clubs won't care as they have been bribed with extra riches

I would say yes they are supporting the club. People boycotted last year, when it was only the trial stage and it still got approved this season. Our club voted against the changes, however, other clubs did not. So us boycotting our clubs games, will not change other clubs votes! The fans going will be supporting our players development and will hopefully see some of our development squad get a run out. The more it feels like a proper game, the more it will aid them. Friendlies and development games are not the same as competitive fixtures. The more our fans make this feel like a competitive fixture, the more it will benefit them. They need to experience a proper match day experience, so if they are needed in the league they will have experienced it already. The decision has been made, whether the fans attend or not, they will not change that decision or our clubs vote. So I can't see how boycotting can help the club? They tried to get B teams in the league, however, all clubs voted against that and IMO they always will. This is different though, they are taking part in a tournament that already had awful attendance's and the majority of teams already played a lot of youth players. This season the rules have changed so we can play a lot of our development players. I hope the original post was a joke. No gashead should receive abuse for supporting our club, which they are doing.
