I wouldn't even consider it unless it's 3M plus. I know his contract is running out but he's the type of player who makes the difference between promotion and remaining in League 1.

Fair play i'd have expected us to take that and say it was too late to sign a replacement. Maybe they feared the backlash from the fans so soon after the snake slithered away.

This is what it should be like, this is more important than a fence at the Colony or a queue for a crap pasty, or the dreaded 66, we have a squad thats growing in confidence and backup for positions. Tomorrow were on the telly and were about to go away to Wolves. Buckle up folks, enjoy this moment...we just did something right!!

Maybe Billy wasn't interested? Regardless, he is now ours for over 20 league games at least and that could really make our challenge a possibility if we get results and create momentum with his help. And that is probably the key to keeping him for longer too

I know its to do with current contract lengths but when was the last time we saw a true and decent offer for one of our better players? Does water me off. Especially when you see the dross who were given longer contracts back in time. BB will have earned it. UTG!

He might be on the bench at a championship club. Do Preston get better attendances than us?

At the end of the day the only reason old hissy left was because someone leaked his release clause meaning we had to release him. I don't think anything less than £2m would have been entertained for him otherwise.

'Points West Understands' hmmmm.
Could be utter bollox!
The important thing is he's still here, but these unsubstantiated claims are no different to someone posting 'what they heard' on here.

Makes it worse that now even bang average players go for stupid money. Bodin is worth between 3-5 million in today's terms.

Tom Lockyer 3 year contract recently I actually meant as in a decent offer to buy our players! e.g. Oxford pocketing £3m for their winger and we're offered 500k for BB

Let the game of 'guess who' commence.... Do they wear a white home kit? Aren't Barcelona looking for a winger, could it be them?

I'm sure it wasn't down to Billy, but he could have thrown his toys out the pram and put in a transfer request. So fair play to him, as far as we know.
I'm sure the club will of been trying to extend his contact, I how they step that up now, he deserves to be on the best contract at the club, he's certainly been on song and we need to make sure that continues to be the case.
It's great to see us no longer being a selling club.

As of Thursday midday, no bids had been received. Still it helps in the selling of papers and filling space on TV.
