England have hit rock bottom. Henderson captain ffs and Southgate Manager, can't get any worse. England FC is a joke. There are too many water poor foreign players and managers in the premier league. English born players generally have no chance of making into the prem. and Dam foreign owners 😳

I watched the Slovakia game, and it wasn't too bad. I actually felt - for the first time in years - that the players were putting in effort. For me, there was some of the spirit that used to be typical of English teams. We were still not that good, and Slovakia went through us with ease at times, but at least we were trying! I think players putting effort in is a big thing for fans even if they are not playing well. Even when we lost games in the Conference, it was probably some of the worst football that lifelong gasheads had seen Rovers play in their lifetime yet there was a lot of encouragement because DC had "given us our Rovers back" and players actually wanted to play for the shirt. That's why, although a lot of people don't like him and he's only got himself to blame for being out of the job, I think Big Sam would've been a great England manager. Could you imagine what the dressing room would've been like with him in charge when we were 2-1 down against Iceland last Summer? He would've told the lads to get their f**king arses in gear and we would've turned that game around in my opinion.

With all due respect, I watch England away frequently, we're not a good side but win quite often. Incase no one had noticed, we are a very small country, so have no right to win anything. We've just won 4-0, but still not good enough. Sounds like another team I support!! 😳 What an odd statement about us being a small country... England has a population of 53 million. The UK has the 3rd largest population in Europe if you don't include Russia and we have the 22rd largest population in the whole world - hardly small..! The UK is a smaller island, but England is in no way a small country. We are just completly rubbish.

It's not the population. It's the lack of grass and fields to play somewhere now 🙁

Reason we will never win nothing at international level again Is nothing to do with population, how big we are as a country It all to do with inflex of foreign players into the money making machine that is the premiership, that's where this country's failings as a winning football side comes from . Yes unbeaten in qualifying for god knows how long , easy when your playing pub teams like Scotland and Malta ( which we sometimes struggle to beat ) but it all falls to sh"t when we get to the nitty gritty games against the big boys . Hardly any real talented English footballers any more , just overpriced overpaid so called footballers.

It all to do with inflex of foreign players Any evidence of this? And, 'we are sh**, and we have foreign players' isn't evidence. You may as well say it's all down to drinking tea, or watching Eastenders.

If in doubt, blame it on the foreigners...
Such a lazy argument. Wales didn't do too badly last year...

I don't think it is such a lazy argument . it's not a simple case of blame it on the foreigners I think the problem lies totally at the door of the premier league and the money. Have a look at the line ups of Manchester Utd, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea how many England internationals were named in the starting 11 of their most recent games. England's best players need to playing for our best domestic teams. Do we want to be picking players from lower premier league teams and I mean no disrespect saying that.
