You surely must be able to get a keeper in on an emergency loan as what would happen if you only have two goalkeepers like many teams and one is injured and one suspended? I would not want to start with Andre even though he did nothing wrong and was brilliant on the day.

I have no idea about the rules, but that fact that yesterday we had a substitute goalkeeper, who came on to play, would seem to rather defeat any argument that we don't have a goalkeeper.

If it was for a studs showing tackle then it will be a three match ban.

Thats the sensible choice just a case of registering him as a player already with the club so its only a bit of paperwork my only concearn is his match fitness if its only for a maxium of 3 games its a gamble worth taking. Whilst Id love to see the young lad given a chance his inexperience worries me

He's already on the wage bill as a coach can't see the issue

I expect DC will keep everyone guessing right up to about 7:15 Tuesday.

I expect DC will keep everyone guessing right up to about 7:15 Tuesday. Probably another thing is we don't know the length of ban Solcombe (or "Slo" "come" "be" as the 8/10 old lad was calling him on the bus on the way home from the match) will get.

I expect DC will keep everyone guessing right up to about 7:15 Tuesday. That early? 😀 Thats how DC does it though, he will keep the opposition guessing. I expect he already knows how he'll play it, it's just the rest of us who don't! Two years ago when we were about to play Yeovil away, we had no fit keepers and DC brought Aaron Chapman in on loan on the morning of the Saturday match, true it was still in the window so that might make a difference. From what I remember he only met the rest of the team that morning and had never trained with them. And we kept a clean sheet, perhaps that's the secret. UTG!

Really? Thought it was a broken bone in his hand. You could be right actually, definitely a broken bone in the arm/hand though. I don't think it was officially announced anywhere.

If it was for a studs showing tackle then it will be a three match ban. It wasn't, it was a dogso = 1 match suspension

If you do not have a goalkeeper available to you with more than five senior appearances to his name you can make a loan signing at anytime. Therefore in this instance if Smith is still unfit, we can bring in a loan keeper.

A loan or unregistered will get a Puddy, Roos or Nichols; no thanks. One game take a chance, 3 register Milds.
