As hard as he works and as much as I like him, his lack of tactical discipline leaves us wide open at times in the middle. If Sinclair is the answer, I'm not sure what the question is. Its all opinions but that is a total myth perpetuated by a few on here and followed by others. The only time he plays in that style is when he is playing in a very advanced role otherwise hes very disciplined. When any midfield players makes a forward run someone else should cover him. At his best chris lines makes surging runs to the opponents penalty area does that mean he lacks tactical discipline? I mean surely hes left a gaping hole? Its fine not to be a sinclair fan but to spout this rubbish about him lacking discipline is laughable.

The amount of times he chases down lost causes and then gets caught out of position is ridiculous. It's often his enthusiasm that gets the better of him. And yes I do believe Lines also lacks tactical discipline at times actually. It's funny how two people can watch the same game and see things so differently.

Sinclair despite his limitations is the sort of player you want when things aren't going well. At least with him you know he will fight and press for everything and that rubs off on the rest of the team.
The less of the ball we have in games, the more important he is.

I'd suggest recent results indicate Sincs being out is now becoming a big loss, plus if he's such a liability why does DC pick him whenever he's fit? When the going gets tough we need battlers like Sincs more than the likes of Sercombe.
