Bit concerned that the supporters club coaches aren't leaving the Mem until 4.15. Seems a bit late to me. Anyone else think so?

Leaving at the start of the Bristol rush hour and arriving at the end of the West Midlands rush hour.
Should be fine.

Should be fine. I'm driving up and will be leaving at about 4.30pm. Allowing 2 hours to get there I am hoping to be there at 6.30pm, over an hour before kick off.

I think it could be a bit late, too. I wouldn't worry too much about being late, the first 20 minutes will be goalless and we won't get one sent off for at least half an hour!

I'd be worried to be honest, especially with the roadworks and a 30mph speed limit on the M5 at their end, I know this as I went there last night and was stuck in it for ages. One hold up and you've had it.

The m5 m6 and basically the whole midlands is the worlds biggest car park at the minute. Most wolves coming from your way get off at Worcester or use the a449. If you not within 30/40 miles of wolves by 5.30/5.45 I'd say the chances of you making kick off are slim. There was a thread on molineux mix the other week with Bristol city fan explaining the best routes to avoid the m5 will try and find it when finish work for you.

Thanks yamyam. Just say the traffic is "easy" and we get there in good time.....what do you recommend regarding parking and refreshment? Thanks (I saw how friendly you were on "another club's forum").

Normally drinking wise the town is a no go zone for away fans as all pubs are home fans only. Think only Chelsea in the last 3 seasons have managed to get into a pub in the town centre but as we are unlikely to sell many I expect that will be more relaxed. Parking wise your best bet is the official away fans pub which is the blue brick/premier inn you have to pay a few quid to park but get it back at the bar when you have a drink, it's your typical hotel chain place no thrills but okay food. Round the back off the blue brick is the great western which is away friendly and a cracking old school Black Country pub loads of good quality beers and proper scratching. In the town there are loads of pubs usual spoons/Yates types hogsheads is the only chain place I'd recommend for food and drink. Independent pubs the lychgate and dog and dublet are the best and safest bet. On the way to the ground next to the subway is a tikka stall if you just want a quick snack for £4 you get a nan bread filled with loads of tikka can't beat it.

Fair play on shifting 2000 3x what city brought and probably be around what we would bring to you.
