Is there a temptation to give a few players a rest against Wolves? We have played 8 games in the last month as it is and Blackpool next Saturday is looking like a pretty important game now.
Or, at this stage of the season is it wise to prioritise the cup. This is an opportunity to get through to the last 16, draw a big team and fill the coffers.
Hard call. I can't see the same team playing twice. is it possible to use our squad to the full and still give ourselves a decent chance in both games, or would doing so likely result in a couple of losses?

I think we will see 3/4 changes between the 2 sides. No reason we can't be competitive doing that as we have a squad of players not just a team of 11. I expect Bodin to play 90 minutes in both games. Partington will probably play in one of them and Leads in the other for example.

This midfield is starting to worry me a bit. Tuesday would have been a perfect game for Sincs. Need him back soon. Leadbitter's poor form probably means if Parts plays he will play right back, but I think we'll see him in the defensive midfield spot before long.

Telford deserves a start.

I don't think we should "prioritise the cup" for sure. Like GGMI said, I think we will see 3/4 changes between the 2 sides. I would start Telford and possibly even Burn for the cup, resting Lockyer for the League game. We might get battered by Wolves, but that would be a possibility even with a full strength team. Whatever we decide to do at Wolves, it should be with one eye on the following league fixture, that is always the priority for me.

Build time machine and go back pre deadline day and buy the three top players we missed out on.

If we suspect Wolves will field a full strength team then put out the second string and hope for the best.Save the first team players energy for the league...now the pressure is starting to build. If Wolves seem like they will play a youth team put out a strong team and try to win the game. The victory would do morale good and then hope there is enough in the squad to beat Blackpool Saturday.

Start with 10, save the no doubt useless ref the trouble of sending one off. Then if we're still in it with ten minutes left throw the eleventh man on

Play the BEST available eleven in both games - after all, it is what most clubs do

I wouldn't worry about it as none of us know what our best team is? Including DC!

We put out a strong side against Fulham so I expect us to do the same against Wolves.
I do think it is an opportunity to give Bola another start though as he seems to be in good form.
Also I still feel that Telford has not really been given a decent chance, would be nice to bring him on as a sub but perhaps at the 60 mins mark not just for 5/10 mins at the end.
Edit: Telford sub assumes we manage to keep 11 players on the pitch. Lol!

Beat Wolves though and we could have a money spinning game in the next round to boost the transfer coffers? This team gives the fringe player a game and is hardly a weakened side: Smith Parts Locks Broadbent Brown/Bola Bodin Clarke Lines Moore Gaffers Nichols/Telford

We are likely to make at least 8 probably 10 changes but will still be relatively strong team.

That's nothing we're making 12. We can do that? We need 12, but probably not as we'll end up with only 10 on the pitch for the 3rd week running.
