Who are your favourite Rovers class players ? The ones who always have or create a bit of extra time and space, play good passes, and don't seem to get ruffled...
Let's start with:-
Manager: Don Megson
Players:- Mickey Barrett (RIP) Phil Kite Nigel Martyn Brian Parkin John Scales Stu Taylor Larry LLoyd Gary Mabbutt Tim Parkin Phil Roberts Neil Slatter Steve Yates Marcus Browning (?) Andy Reece Phil Roberts Chris Lines David Williams Dennis Bailey Jason Roberts Billy Bodin Paul Randall John Taylor
Any more anyone ?

Marcus Stewart probably the classiest actiest player I've seen in the quarters. Yeah, I thought about including him. But strangely I was never a big fan.

Might be showing my age here but as a young kid there was nothing like seeing Harold Jarman on the wing..

Try and pick a team out of that lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I do a 1-2-7 formation? I tried to work the formation too - but I gave up on it!!! We have goalkeepers in abundance We have two centre backs Struggling for right and left backs (competitionwise) - I could add Lindsay Parsons as being one of my boyhood favs. Wingers we are ok with.......... Strikers (or front twos) we are ok with That leaves a central midfield to come up with. It sort of shows how great we have been at coming up with a team with goalscorers but how sh** we have been in keeping possession of the ball.

As a kid I thought Andrew Evans our Welsh winger was immense, career ruined by injury.

That dirty bastard left back David Peach of Southampton, you could clearly see it was a bad break and that prick was laughing! I'm pretty sure that was the end for him, I may be wrong but I don't think he ever played after the that?
