Problem is DC will see Northampton as another "project" and will revert to three different strikers upfront, I can't understand why he just doesn't stick with our two inform strikers, EH & RG as yesterday showed they can play well together. Actually, one of the only other games I can remember Gaffney and Harrison starting as a pair was Northampton away last season. Don't know if they have the same defence but DC clearly had his reasons for picking them last year and it worked.

Feel sorry for Lockyer there, not as bad as it first looked, unlocky the cross Rick O'Shead thru his legs. I agree. Fine margins. It doesn't squeeze through and he has captained his defence to a confidence boosting clean sheet. He remains a very important player for us, in my opinion.

Anyone notice that no one spoke to their player after he got sent off yesterday. I reckon they've got some team spirit issues although not surprising when you're rock bottom.

Embarrassing mistake by Locks for the goal I'm starting to think maybe give the captaincy to someone else let him concentrate on his own game and see if it helps his form but I've got to say in my opinion Broadbent has been better this season. Great goal by Billy Bodin and Gafney has done well and either scored or set one up or both ( like today ) pretty much every time he's played this season I really think we need to start him every game if he's fit. UTG It was Ollie Clarke. Edit. Apologies - it was Locks.

On the fuller highlights - you have to say Nichols was damn unlucky - one very good save, one just lofted over after a lovely nutmeg and then clipping the outside of the post - however being critical you think 1 of those should've gone in. Maybe he'll shin one in soon or it will go in off his backside !!
