Other than Lockyer's obvious absence what do the rest of you think about the team for Saturday.
Personally, I really hope that the Gaffers - Ellis partnership continues - They've got goals in them and look a threat. Nichols, I think will be more effective coming on against a tiring defence - and that goal is coming !
I may get stick here but if Sinclair is now fully fit then I'd put him in for Ollie, who doesn't look on song to me.
So Broadbent and Sincs in for me - the rest the same.

More than 1 change required, Sweeney is also out again. I agree with Gaffers & Ellis, also the beard if fit. So the back four looks like it will have to be Bola (right back) Broadbean, Partington & Browner. I presume Leads & J Clarke are still not fit?

Big question istm is Parts or Burn?
On the Plymouth matchday moments vid there was a shot of J Clarke running (well, jogging) so maybe he could be back.

Although not sure Sincs is really a replacement for OC so I'd stick with the same midfield/striker who started on Saturday with Sincs to come on in the 2nd half

He plays for us, Blackpool or Muff ain't having him.

Let's not forget Northampton have one of there worst ever injury crisis . Currently: Hoskins O'toole Crooks Barnett Long Philips are all out. Plus Moloney and another player are struggling from Tuesday's cup game and Regan Poole have been called up by Wales...

I keep thinking if we could just win an away game and win both our home games either side that could give us the confidence to crack on and have another good season. 3 wins in a row gives you a real lift.

I'd play Broadbent and Burn again. Burn needs to do a lot better than Bradford and I'm sure he will. We have missed Sinclair's energy and presence away from home especially, so it will be good to have him in the fold.

I would play parts Broadbent Bola Brown.
Talking about Lockyer. How much longer does he have on his contract with Bodin he must be one of our highest valued players.
The fact that Bodin could leave on the cheap or free soon is ridiculous to me. If he is refusing to sign, we can't exactly phase him out until January and then I would expect us to sign 2 wide players early on.
Back to Lockyer. reality is, he could be playing in the world cup next summer. If a few injuries hit the Wales back 4, Locks goes in and does really well. Then we could have a few clubs sniffing. Another player for me who we need to extend the contract of. I don't think he has been that great for us this/parts of last season. But a few tidy performance for Wales and can see clubs taking a little risk.
