Gaffney scores once every 90mins with a 3rd of his shots ending in a goal according to that. Yeah, according to that, the closer to the top left hand corner you are, the better you are doing. So he is the most successful striker in the country, by those metrics, atm. top right is best. vertical axis = goals per minutes on pitch, horizonal axis = quality of shots (number of goals expected to score for each shot taken)

So, Gaffers has the best goals per minute of league 1's top scorers, and he's only played a few games, and yet he's got a much worse goals per shot record than all the other top scorers in the league? He must take a load of shots when he does play, then?

So those stats suggest we're making nearly twice as many changes to the starting 11 than other div 2 teams and Gaffney's one of the most lethal strikers in English football, even though DC doesn't seem to think he's worthy of a stating place! He might have been playing more but has had a couple of injury problems this season. I think he's our best striker and have done since Twatty left.

There is only one stat that matters and that's the final league table.

If he had picked his arse even that would've kept a clean sheet at Northampton!

If he did pick his arse he'd only drop it again next week.
We have the highest average number of changes to starting 11 in League 1 so far this season (Source: www.experimental361.com)
Very interesting stats - thanks It shows the teams and their positions in the division having made the following number of changes to their line -up each game Top 1.5 (Shrewsbury) 2nd 1.2 3rd 1.7 4th 1.8 5th 1.4 6th 0.9 7th 1.8 8th 1.0 9th 1.3 10th 2.0 11th 1.5 12th 3.7 (Bristol Rovers)13th 1.9 14th 2.6 15th 1.5 16th 1.0 17th 1.9 18th 2.6 19th 2.2 20th 2.7 21st 1.6 22nd 2.7 23rd 2.2 24th 1.9 is DC bucking the trend - or showing the way?

Well a simple average discounting ourselves right in the middle would suggest that the teams above us make less changes than those below us. Very simply this could suggest that the more you change the lower you fall. I'm sure there are a host of other factors that contribute to this but in answer to your question I would say we buck the trend.

Do you change coz you're losing, or do you lose coz you're changing. Either way, that's not gonna apply to DC's team coz we know he will change win or lose.
