I was at Filton High with Terry, those kick arounds at lunchtime with a tennis ball on the hockey pitch were legendary. Sadly left us early along with the likes of Colin James. Chris as has been said fell in with the wrong crowd in his first spell at the club, Roadmans Coronagate was an example of him being led by senior players. There was a clear drinking culture amongst the team in those days, muck akin to the Sh*theads in the 90's. I will always remember the Bananarama play-off final, he was clearly struggling late on and was about to be substituted. He stayed on and was part of the victorious penalty shoot out. ONE OF OUR OWN Don't forget Steve Workman mate - Billy Whizz. There was a gifted footballer even if he did favour the sh**. Such a tragic end at such a young age and the first of the Filton Boys sadly lost before their time. Steve Workman; now that is a name I remember. Occasionally see Topher at games, he is a real unit these days long gone is the fitness he had when playing Corps football for the Royal Marines They shall not grow old
