And if the 'bar worker' said " A policeman in riot gear shot someone and put the body in our cellar" would the post have published that too? Not unusual for the Post reporters to hype stories to promote anti Rovers feeling Not all staff who work in the "Rovers" pubs are Rovers fans. Just saying. It all seems a bit far fetched (even for me), if someone has assaulted a member of the Police, I would find it highly unlikely that they would be able to calmly go back into the pub and finish their drink. I wasn't there, so can't corellate the story either way

This story originated on The Sun website, whilst there was some kind of incident at The Welly this all seems a bit far fetched. Do newspaper reporters not check the facts now are correct before printing an article?

And Alex Wood (the so-called reporter) is from Plymouth - joined the Post in January

God I so hope this is made up / exaggerated or at least an Oxford fan and not one of our own. Worrying though if they allegedly walked back in to finish their drink as this might signify it is someone from Bristol.

Knowing A&S finest she would have been arrested and named and shamed in that rag today otherwise Knowing A&S's finest, they probably arrested the horse. Knowing A&S's finest ,they probably thought she was a milwall fan ,ran under the horse and twatted her with their issued head bashing stick , and cried reasonable force Someone mentioned in this thread the oxford forum , one of the last pages on the rovers game thread on the oxford forum is a post about whatr happened from an oxford fans point of view ,as i wasn't there i dont know what happened but their version is plausible

If the bartender saw her punch the horse, surely he would have had her ejected from the pub when she returned - I can't imagine anybody wanting to encourage that type of clientele.

Funniest thing I saw once at Wembley was a very drunk supporter approaching a snarling ravenous beast of a police dog, with the words "are you a good boy?" and then extending his hand, with a open can of special Brew towards said slavering bundle of teeth with the words "have a little drinkie nice doggie" to the horror of the police handler.
