Up to date statistics tell us the following;
12th place in conference Bristol Rovers 14 pts 16th place Altrincham 8 pts
Braintree 8th place 15 points (3 against us)
After a far from inspiring start to the season.
I would suggest that these stats should give us hope, in recent seasons it seems there has been very little between most teams outside the two at the top and the two at the bottom, already this season there is a 6 point difference between 12th & 16th place with Braintree in 8th only 1 point a head of us?
Christ if our board are serious about running a football club, as they must be in business to be where they are, together with our attendance, there would be the desired drive & commitment plus finance to water this league!
For feck sake somebody who matters at this club wake up and smell the coffee or have the balls to tell us whatever agenda you might have?

You can't spend what you haven't got, and where as spending beyond our means got us in recent years?

Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk The biggest problem is the chunk of the budget taken by the players remaining from last year, which has led to a much lower average for the rest. In comparison. JJOT £2500 a week. Sinclair £600 a week.

For what its worth I dont believe money is not available/cant be found if absolutely necessary, weve got a great reputation for spending our way out of the sh**e when required, is it not required now more than ever? Or shall we just settle for conference club status for the next 5-10 years.

Darren, no point blowing the kitty too early. Add to that, what realistically is available?

If we get success then the crowds will come and our revenue will increase. If that happens players will want to play for us as everyone wants to be playing in a winning team.
