I took my lad to football training this evening, and I sat in the car listening to Radio Bristol. Geoff Twentyman was presenting "Having a Sh1t, sorry, Sound of the Cit¥ and he had the above mentioned player on for a 2 part interview. He was part of their team that lost to Dean Windass, before falling out with Gary Johnson and getting moved on. The first part of the interview dealt with his playing career, and it quickly became apparent the player was a sh**-stirring trouble maker wherever he played, and as a result never stayed at one club very long.
He modestly described himself as a total perfectionist, who very often lost patience with managers he didn't think we're as professional and focused as he considers himself to be. He also said he was very often too serious and professional to join in with dressing room banter, obviously an all round bundle of fun. He was very keen to justify himself and was only interested in making everyone else seem to be in the wrong.
The second part concerned his disastrous business dealings. Apparently he has been declared bankrupt with debts in excess of 3 million quid. I seem to remember it being reported that he lost a lot of money on behalf of other footballers through dodgy investments, one of which was a club in Oxford Street. Apparently he spent an absolute fortune refurbishing the building on which he had acquired a 5 year lease. At he end of the lease the building was demolished! What a complete and utter Fool! Surely, even the most simplistic South Bristol retard would make certain enquiries before signing up for that sort of deal. He spent the rest of the interview whining that none of it was his fault and that he had been poorly advised and misled.
The reason for his appearance on the radio is, of course, the fact that he has a book to sell. I'm surprised that GT would give such a con-artist the opportunity to hawk his wares on his show, and he's gone down a bit in my estimation.
I remember a bit about this bloke at Cit¥, and I believe he was always stirring up trouble and telling Johnson how to pick the team.
I know this is not Rovers related, but the brass neck on some people is difficult to believe.

The sh** obviously checked his DNA and realised that he was a total gobshite and an absolute bell end......... that meant that he fitted in perfectly at Trashton so they offered him a contract. Having a sh** is a cracking name for the show. How about Trash Talk?

Lickle Lee lost £48,000 to his failed venture. Embarrassing that Ickle Lee can afford to lose the same amount of money that WAQ has invested of his own money since he took over!
