...it's what we're all gonna need a lot of i'm afraid.
The famous 'evolution' quote was a very good one by Wael. It appears to me that good things will come, however it could take a long, long time.
I think most of us appreciated that The Al Qadi's wouldn't go throwing tens of millions around, however i do think we quietly hoped that they may just spend/invest a bit more than we've been sodding used to. I think most of us hoped the stadium would be sorted within a few years and we also thought we may at last get a real stadium to be proud of, maybe even match our nieghbours home in size/stature, that, it seems is now gone and we now aim for a stadium that will at least allow us to make the most of what we do have - a pretty loyal customer base.
I mention the word Patience because we are going to have to be, the problem is while we wait possibly a decade for a finished stadium project, years for a training facility and therefore probably many years before we reap the benefits of both i cannot see huge differences in our playing staff finances from what they have always been and that sadly may also slow down the progress we hoped to continue on the field.
Now, if you're lucky enough to still be a teenager that's fine you have plenty to look forward to - assuming it all works out. But the likes of us, shall we say maturer supporters it's gonna be a lot more painful, slow progress. And this is where many, many of our supporters will NOT have patience, and to be honest i can understand why. Most of us have followed this club hoping things get better and along the way we've been told this or that was going to happen, sadly nothing much did. This is a reason why many will continue to question, analyse, be critical of every step along the way and also why rumours will be spread. Remember also we all have different opinions on how/what the stadium plans should have to work. So not only may we need to be patience with the current owners we may have to be patient with many of our own fellow fans.
Let's hope this time, however long it takes it's bloody worth it. It's been a long journey.......

Remember when we were asked to choose our season tickets at Cheltenham Town for the two seasons it would take to re-build the Mem? ??

Sadly, we have already lost a generation of young fans to them south of the river. We are so far behind that we are set to lose another generation.
They jest that we are no longer their rivals. By the time another generation is lost, this will actually be true. Most fans of both clubs will have never witnessed a real Bristol derby - and will not feel the rivalry.
I've got patience, but I feel it's all going to be a bit too late.

It was that long ago I didn't have a grey hair on my head, I had all my own teeth, I didn't wear glasses and I didn't have too get up twice in the middle of the night to take a pi$$! Isn't it great getting old! Still mustn't grumble UTG

Until Johnson’s 5 year plan is complete. He’s doing far too well now perhaps we should do something like makeup rumours about how he wanks off cats or something to try and get rid of him.

Yes I agree, there does seem to be an army of Victor Meldrews on here. Still, that's the way the mop flops.
