£80K on Parts, £40K on Burn, £150K on Sercs, £300K on Nichols, DC given a 5 year contract suggests decent spending by our standards? Plus offers apaprently turned down for Bodin That's an outlay of 570k as opposed to the 300k from Chelsea game and 300k from sale of taylor But losses are still somewhere between £1-2m per season, total debts against the Mem now around £10m, so unless we expect the ALQ's to have a bottomless money pit can we really expect them to give DC any bigger a playing budget? We're really now paying for the fact previous owners have never developed the Mem but let's blame DC/Wael as we have a recent history of employing fantastic managers like PT/DP/PB/MM/JW

In some ways I would love him to quit.
Maybe then some people will appreciate what we have lost.
DC needs to improve as does the team, but we will be ok this year I am sure and i am not hitting any panic buttons yet

If we are in the relegation zone in December then maybe we should sack him. He deserves a few months to turn it around. Paul Trollope being the ideal replacement.

Sorry but I don't agree with you Padstow. At the end of the day we have lost 3 games on the spin. It is disappointing but it is way too early for calls saying DC needs help imo. Also I think Henbury called it right earlier, DC would be gone the minute he felt undermined and quite right too he has more than enough credit in the bank imo. Actually it's 9 in 15 defeats that's 60 % Your point being? Results fluctuate whether you are BRFC or Man Utd. By your logic Leicester should have got someone in to help Ranieri when they struggled the year after winning the PL.

Where's the dislike button? I'm sorry and I know it's about opinions, but my opinion is that the OP must have the memory of a goldfish to want DC out now. And if it's a moment of madness, get a hold of yourself and don't make pathetic reactionary posts of whingy winey embarrassing nonsense. We are still midtable in League One. Where were we when DC first took on the job? We still have players who wear the shirt with pride. Look where Northampton are after they won L2 at a canter in the year we were promoted. Football is not always success particularly at this level, and perhaps supporters like you have been so lavished with success over the last 3 years that you throw your dummy out when it goes off the boil slightly. We're not Real Madrid, we won't win every game and won't get promoted every year, regardless of who the manager is. Deal with it, or support someone else, or find a new hobby because you obviously can't cope with one week of bad results. DC is now simply a victim of his own success.

Enough s enough s enough we have no idea how to play no tactics and a dead loss of a manager we have lost 3 games in a week with a combined score of nil six we really must be the laughing stock of football at the moment and I have been very patient until the last 8 days now I am totally watered off and for the who say who am I , I tell you I have followed the gas since the early 70's and this must be the worst set of performances ever we can't pass we can't tackle we can't score and every week we have water poor comments from the manager with poor excuses for the latest s&@£e performance how about all the leak gas that go home and away every week we / they deserve better so do be a man for once and resign now and not wait to be sacked utg This forum has become a joke, full of bullshit but this is by far the most pathetic post I have ever read.

I cant do "links" but i read an article that showed that 15 championship clubs spent more than 100% of their total income just on staff wages! Brentford were near the top with 160% and city down the list at 123%. Its madness but its what your up against if you want to get anywhere in the modern game. If were waiting for sustainability before we finance anything worthwhile then prepare for the worse. Usually in football now any team in the bottom 6 for a short time changes the manager, thats how it is in football now.

Beside that on a day when the man who saved rovers for us to argue about died it is a bit ridiculous don't you agree. That is my last word on it because I am so sad that the team couldn't raise themselves to give a result he would have love to see

The last few months have shown we have some absolute cretins for supporters. I've witnessed some dog sh** football supporting Rovers, particularly in the early 2000s, but none of that would stop me going. However the pathetic over reactions of men twice my age is making me fall out of love with Rovers. We were more together as a club when only 5000 turned up. I agree mate, when we are doing badly it's the same old 5000 who keep this club alive, when we start looking like a decent 3rd tier side, suddenly a load of people turn up and act like they have some kind of entitlement.....

Sometimes I'm embarrassed by our supporters, there was a guy by me today who did nothing but abuse the team from start to finish, he was in his 5th, I don't get it we are all passionate about our club but to abuse the team is for me pathetic,we saw what happened to us ad a club when the fans become disconnected.I don't advocate blind faith however there are ways if going about making your point without throwing a tantrum, why would anyone listen to folk who rant at any setback and when it doesn't always go our way.New Mgr no way someone tell me a better man for the job? ?

Knowing that this might not be a popular opinion, sincerely, I would let him relegate us and still keep him. I think he's earned it to be honest. I'd be confident that learning would spur another promotion soon after anyway. I believe he will end up managing at a high level, better it's with us.
