If you really don't want your season ticket then send it to me. I'll pm you may address if you are serious and promise to send it back if the DC does unfortunately move on. Let me know. Thanks but I will keep it . It won't be long before we get a new manager and I can use it again 🤡

Who's your choice for the next manager (that will also bring us instant success)? I'm only asking as I really don't want to go through the Graydon, Atkins, McGee and Buckle years again. Thanks. Told u b4 Holloway for one and we don't expect instant success but a decent performance giving 100% is all we ask for like the game at Wolves Never go back. You'd only want him out after 3 losses anyway Out of curiosity, has there been a manager sacked by Rovers in the last 20 years who you didn't want gone before he was sacked?

DC in his interview said that anyone who thinks he is the problem will be gone in January. Why is it that when Teams go on these dreadful losing runs, no-one seems to know the reason why and the remedy is always hard work in training. I thought training was supposed to be hard graft anyway, so how can it be the only solution. what DC needs to know is who has been swimming naked now that the tide is going out. How can so many Players be so badly off form all at the same time? It seems that having young loanees in the squad is a bit of a luxury that has led us to be physically weak. Colkett, Salter-Clarke, Boateng, Bola,Telford and Sweeney all had a few good Games but when things got tough they were not really up for it ( Sweeney was an exception last season). DC should avoid youth in January and I believe that he has what it takes to put things right.

DC has gone from tier 7 to tier 3 in just a few years. For me the issues lie with his recuitment and he needs help Agreed. I'm surprised with all the backroom appointments an experienced scout wasn't amongst the additions. DC admitted we only have a small recruitment team, a CS would have been a better bet than a CE but I guess getting the pies right is more important than getting the right players in, in someone's eye.

The best manager we have had for at least 25 years, if not longer, has been left as the only officer on the battlefield as we try to aim for Championship football.
No new stadium, no news on the Mem, no news on the training ground, no top six budget.
Yet still the man is expected to perform his miracles.
No wonder he's lost his mojo, along with the team.
I don't blame him, and I wouldn't blame him if he left us.
He's been let down by false promises and false news.

Cant believe people want Holloway !!!! The same people who demanded he was sacked when our chief scout Richard Everson was made redundant and suddenly Holloway had to find his own players and the likes of Jason Roberts were replaced with Micky Evans.
The moral of this story is that managers are often only as good as the team around them. Give DC a scout like Everson and a coach like Penrice and we would be top 6 and making a shedload of ££s in fees.

He even gave the club advice on players AFTER he left the club.

Not sure keeping us mid table with a mid table budget is actually expecting him to perform a miracle? I sense he blew his budget on average players Parts, Burn, Sercs and Nicholls are hardly taking us to the next level.

Change selection and tactics and this can be turned around as per my other threat! I like DC but he needs to sort the team out as this is his job. Change it or lose your job mate! Simples

Sercs might be a good player but I struggle to see where he fits in, he's not strong enough for the CM role and not tricky enough to play wing. There's a reason Oxford let him leave!

Cant believe people want Holloway !!!! I cant believe people actually think someone managing in the league above would leave their position to drop down a league.

What has changed most at the club is the squad. Now whilst the players Mildenhall,Mansell,Easter , Lawrence and McCrystal hardly had a dozen games between them last season. They brought wisdom and knowledge of the game and strength to the dressing room. By the very fact they hardly played last season it stands to reason a year later they would not cut the mustard on the pitch now. But , the squad did lose something. Elder statesmen.
How this can be rectified before January I don't know. Unless clubs elsewhere are prepared along with the players themselves to rip up their contracts by mutual consent and become free agents so that Rovers could then sign them. The squad has lost an old head from the core of each area of the pitch. The current squad whilst willing don't appear to have the leadership skills. Chris Lines as one of the older players would be expected to step up ,but I don't think its in his personality. (and not to be held against him by the way) Older players though tend to want better wages....
Lee Brown should be made captain. He should be told he needs to organise the defence...keep its shape ,call the shots etc. He is the obvious candidate from the squad. Sercombe needs to be told he rules the midfield , Broadbent/Partington/Clarke alongside him need to be told they are his "minder" and protector. That's it that's all they need do ,look after Sercs. Bodin to play his wide right attacker role . Left wing can be filled by various players depending on the opposition. Bola for some occasions Broom/Moore for others.
Gaffney up front...with Harrison as his replacement (but mostly Bodins if needed) Nicholls needs to be told...don't worry about the team...just concentrate on being a mostly selfish goalscorer.
EDIT: As a proactive thing I would try to get every player (at home games) filmed for their entire period on the pitch. Each of the positions would have a mentor. As an example (and not to taken as the ideal appointments)
Centre backs ....Geoff twentyman / steve Elliot / Steve Foster Left back........... Vaughan Jones / Lee Martin / Brian Williams (?) Right back......... David Pritchard Wide right.......... David Mehew Centre midfield.... Kenny Hibbit /Andy Reece /Justin Skinner Gaffney/Harrison...Rickie Lambert/ peter Beadle /Richard Walker Telford/Nicholls .....Jamie Cureton / Jason Roberts /Paul Randall /Barry Hayles
well you get the idea...a mentor to work through the players last video performance with them. Pointing out things they could do to improve that situation. Also going through previous years good examples and that of other teams current good delivery of roles. These would not be physical training roles that's for D.C. and friends to work on.
Bristol Rovers should utilise the past players to help todays players. In turn the current players should be given Mentor roles to the players in the youth/development set up.

That's all just moving the deckchairs around, DC's tried all that we need something more asap. Perhaps Lambert or similar just something to give the club a lift/a wise old head on the pitch, even just on the bench and in training. I seriously wonder where we're going to get more than one win, we don't do draws, between now and mid January looking at our fixtures:
Blackburn A Rotherham H Southend H Gills A Doncaster H Walsall A Oldham A Pompey H Wigan H Blackpool A Bradford H

Well it's the last time I am going to travel around the country spending my money watching this crap until he's gone season ticket will go into hiding for the foreseeable future and I am not the only one to think like this the attendances will fall dramatically Can you just imagine how many Blackburn are going to score next week it's not even worth thinking of In all my tears of following the gas this is only the second time I am turning my back on them the first time was when that Scottish twat Maghee was appointed So twice in 5 years? So much for Faithful and True.
