Yes we are going through a minor blip, but in my opinion anyone who thinks we should lose patience and sack him after 3 defeats might as well go south to find more of their kind. DC is doing a fantastic job for us - look where we were when he took over! He has turned us from a boring, predictable, bottom of league 2 side, into an exciting, unpredictable league 1 side. Along the way we've experienced the deepest lows, but also the highest highs. As well as the back-to-back promotions, he has character qualities that are difficult to find in football. He's: He get's our club and I genuinely believe he loves it here. He wears his heart on his sleeve and I have no doubt he is working as hard as he can to turn our results around.
He can seem stubborn - but show me a good manager that isn't. He must do what he feels is right because he lives and dies by his decisions.
This man deserves us all to get behind him and the team through a difficult period.
In DC I trust!

I disagree. We're not going through a rough patch, at all. Some people are whining coz we've lost three on the bounce (two close games). In the grand scheme of our football club that's about as rough as wiping your arse with an andrex puppy.

Rough patch, I've had shaves that had more of a rough patch. Into the conference, rebuilt the team, out of the conference, into league two and promoted straight out, just outside the playoffs in league one and mid table on a bit of a minor blip and the whole world goes into meltdown for two or three posters.
Get a grip of reality, have a cup of tea and then go again on Saturday.
These are poorly paid lower division footballers, not Messi / Bale / Ronaldo et-al. A sense of reality needs to prevail in some peoples lives.

I think the 3 games on the trot is just the headline , I would imagine that its losing 2/3rds of games so far that is the worry. That half of the victories came against teams that were in the relegation zone at the time. It has been the case that the second half of the season has generally been where the team have picked up and cemented good league positions come May. That's not a guarantee though ,fans don't "know" for sure this will happen. So the current form IS a concern. However D.C. has earned the right to get things back on track and move the club forward again. With patience from fans and with him not knee jerk reacting things will be fine.

Hi, DC fanboy dropping by just to add to what others have already said in support of him.
This is the first time in 2 years we have lost 3 in a row.
We're 16th in L1, 6 points away from being in playoff's & 6 points away from being in the relegation zone.
Although the season so far hasn't lived up to our expectations, neither has it been a disaster.
A sense of perspective is needed.
We are the gas not the sh*t, we shouldn't try and lynch our manager at the first sign of a wobble.
Remember, our club has been in alot worse predicaments than this during its 130+ year history.
Let's summon up that 'backs against the wall' mentality and get behind our manager and our team.
Given where we have come from in our recent history I think we really do owe Daryll and the boys the opportunity to put things straight which I'm sure they will do.
Up the gas!

Anyone who is calling for DC's head needs to sit down and have a good look at themselves, some people have extremely short memories.
DC stuck by us following relegation feeling he had a moral responsibility to send us back up, we have a moral responsibility to get behind DC and the squad going through this 'rough patch' of three games ffs

Football fans become more inpatient by the day. I feel sad that we are even talking about this. We are a small club with a lot of potential. DC has got us moving in the right direction quicker than any of us could have ever dreamt of.
I for one would be happy with a period of stability and consolidation. The Development squad and youth setup will produce us a few stars which we can look forward to watching. Hopefully the facilities will follow at some point although I am not holding my breath due to whats happened since leaving Eastville.
After the heart break of what happened over a number of years following Trolls spell I am grateful to be supporting a reasonable mid table league 1 side at the Mem. A few years ago I thought we would be supporting a phoenix club by now. I am grateful with what we have.

The results of the poll suggest the overwhelming majority on this forum want DC to stay.
Enough said!

The fact that this is even a question is embarrassing and an insult to his lordship.

95% I’m favour of DC. I’d say that pretty impressive for any manager in any position isn’t it?

I couldn't fail to overhear some bloke in the toilets after Rochdale going on about needing to get rid of this manager, it's just mindless to suggest it. DC is the best manager we have ever had, but suddenly he's not good enough!

I think we’ll finish mid table with this squad but if we bring any players in I hope it’s some experience because I think that’s what we’re missing. Preferably an experience defensive coach too. We’re doing alright though if I had been offered 5 points off play offs with a third of the season gone I’d have taken that.

Leaving aside the bottom 4 clubs, here are some track records for the LAST FIVE GAMES:-
Scunthorpe: lost 3 on the bounce Peterboro: lost 4, including 3 on the bounce. No win in last 5 games Pompey: lost 3 Donny: lost 3 Fleetwood, Blackpool, Walsall, Rochdale - all only won once in last 5 games. Rovers ? Crisis, what crisis ??
