I couldn't get to the Mem today but listened on Radio Bristol and am pleased to say the Geoff Dunford came over loud and clear Nicks speech was brilliant especially the Dennis Dunford trailer at the end well done to all!! In the west enclosure today and have to say a big thank you to the club for a wonderful tribute to Geoff and have no doubt the Dunford family would have appreciated it. A superb tribute by Nick Day who is to be congratulated not only on its content but the superb way he delivered it.

I agree, couldn’t here a word at the back of the Dribuild enclosure. I wrote to Ian Holtby in the Summer but as usual nothing has been done.

I can't remember the last time it worked faultlessly from start to finish in the north stand. How difficult can it be to run a pa on a permanent site? The local gymkana is a better bet! And are we not in violation of our stadium safety certificate if people cannot hear safety announcements. Evolution not revolution - - -

All noted but, as Nick Day pointed out, the system was tested earlier in the day in all parts of the stadium and was working fine. These things happen, unfortunately. yes they do happen, but let's be honest, it happens far to much at our club! Embarrassing

I don't think that the failure of the PA detracted from the reflective and respectful feeling. In the Blackthorn I actually sensed the shared humanity of the moment more as a result. Half time was very pleasant without the usual harangue, chatting to my brother next to me and hearing the conversation, analysis and laughter all around me. Same at the end with the cheers allowed to ring out and be heard without being drowned out. For me personally, all that made for a fitting memorial to GD and what he and others have helped preserve for all of us together.

Apart from the awful pa system in the Thatchers end(maybe Geoff was having a laugh at us) I hope we all payed a great tribute to a very good man and his family also a very big THANK YOU to the majority of M K Dons fan's for their fantastic applause and appreciation for someone who they didn't know UTG THANKS

They were fantastic and a credit to their club. I also noticed that a number of them joined in the ‘30 minutes’ applause. Fair play to them for that.

The PA system is the worst I've heard and I've been to plenty of grounds all around the country including non-league teams. Really annoys me that everyone else can get speakers that work! I'm sure it never used to be so bad?..
Was a really well written and well read speech about Dunford (the bits I heard) and Nick delivered it beautifully, real shame that our dreadful sound system meant half the crowd couldn't hear half of it...

Didn't hear a lot of the pre-match build up and only about half of the tribute.
Have to say, tribute aside, I preferred not having to hear the music and all the usual stuff we are subjected to before a game and at half time.
