In my mainly pitiful experiences with Rovers someone who scores a goal in a win at Wembley is a legend to me. I'm not exactly spoilt for choice!

Anybody know where he is? Not been seen since last weekend's defeat by Braintree. If you are reading this tbonegas then what is your current opinion of Darrell Clarke? Interested to hear your views... Last night he sat down a lot. Jumped up a bit. And left the shouting and organising to Stewie and Yatesy. Those are my views.

Don't get me wrong, tbone, you don't have to like him, you don't have to think he's the man for the job, that is completely your choice. But, I don't think you can knock the form, the spirit they have the team playing in and the way the squad is coming together - those things are plain for all to see.

If you wish to give him credit for sitting down and ocassionally jumping up from the bench, whilst others do his job. Then you carry on. I will not get too excited at the actions of our manager. Well not yet anyway.

Well not yet anyway. So the credit for laat nights win should go to Stewie and Yates? Assistants shout from the touchline, just like DC used to do it when JW was in charge. DC is the captain of the ship, takes the credit and takes the blame when it goes right or wrong. Are you seriously giving the man no credit? He has no chance with some people...

Well not yet anyway. Jesus, T-Bone. I'll presume most of Alex Ferguson's success in latter years is due to Mike Phelan and the likes who assisted him? Even if you want to talk about last night specifically, we were 1-0 up in two minutes. Because the team were motivated and the selection was correct or because Stewie and Yates shouted a few things from the sidelines d'ya reckon? As Centenary suggested, mainly the assistents do do the shouting from the touchline, i also saw DC do his fair share. But discredit him for our recent form is ridiculous and I believe you know that. Like I said, you don't have to like him, say he's the man for the job or even think he'll get us anywhere this season but the recent form is undeniable. I'll put it this way: I wanted us to release Ellis Harrison this summer. Last season he disappointed us no end, I never thought he should have been given a 3 year deal and I was disappointed he was here last season. I'm still not sold that he's going to be the future for Bristol Rovers or that he's going to be a consistent player for us. But I can't fault his effort, I can't knock his form, how he's helped the side and right now I'm massively behind the bloke as he is earning my respect. I think you could draw some parallels with the DC situation.

It is all a bit odd our run of 3 games as coincided with DC seemingly taking a back seat and letting MS seemingly take bigger part, including coaching from the side lines, post match interviews, even sorting out the substitutions.
It would be interesting to know what, or who, prompted the changes but they seemed to be working.
