Or maybe john sheridan? lee clarke? or what real experience like say mark mcghee? The next manager will leave us totally unimpressed by his appointment and will mysteriously have a smaller budget to work with. Thats how it will be.

And people ask why DC looks depressed? Haha probably the delusional fickle fans who forget what he’s done for the club and the fact that he is the best manager of our generation just because we lose a couple of games. It makes me laugh when people ask for loyalty from players, but those same people don’t want the club to show any to the people who have served our club so well. So we have to put up with shi!te away performances all season just because DC did well in the past? Either DC was given such a cr@p budget he's had to get in 2nd rate players this summer or he's out of his depth w/o Yates alongside him, something's got to give sooner or later. And our away performances were so much better under the last few managers weren’t they? In a league below as well remember. Would we be better off with a new manager right now? Who knows. One thing I do know is you can’t keep winning forever, we’ve had a few good years under DC and we’re now mid-table (yes that’s right, mid-table not bottom of the league) in a league above the one he took over us in. Did you expect us to keep winning every year and be in Europe before 2020. I really don’t know what people expect. Maybe we do need DC to leave and another Buckle/Penney/McGhee to take charge so you can realise how much DC has done. They always say, “you don’t realise what you’ve got til it’s gone”.

I think you could be right there but I bet he got a clause if some club comes in with a good offer he can use it and rovers still get compensation Let's hope that , that is sooner rather than later so we can get Holloway in, right? you cheeky devil

Sounds like DC in his post match interview thinks big changes needed and so even DC recognizes loyalty has its limits when players are weak and let themselves be bullied.

Just caught another fish they are biting tonight Horrible post. We’re all hurting, No need for that kind of post. Hope someone touches your knee tonight you lucky boy. I’m not hurting. We’re 4 points off the play offs to the championship these are the best times we’ve had in donkeys years ffs. I dont really give a sh** if we’ve been knocked out the fa cup tonight. At the end of the day I think we’ve got better footballers than we’ve had as a squad probably since Holloway was manager but the thing that’s stopping us progress further than last season currently is our lack of experience. We’ve lost mildly Mans, Mc crystal Easter , all experienced players who made a massive impact on the never say die attitude that won us those promotions. I actually think that their replacements are better footballers but what they haven’t got is the leadership and the experience. But one thing time gives you is that experience unfortunately some twatish posts on here reflect that impatience of the fickle supporter of today’s game. DC needs time to make the transition from a double promotion winning squad to a new squad capable of pushing on again , you can’t do that in a season and most managers with his budget couldn’t do that without being relegated at least once in the process, DC has us closer to the play offs whilst overseeing that transition and in my opinion he’s doing a fantastic job. Threads like this are an embarrassment to our club and the Faithful and true.

Ah the old bully boy chestnut. Player power coming to the fore again is it? No surprise there.

I want DC to stay and provided he has some money in January then it will be down to him to show in can bring in a couple of tough and experienced pros into the club. If he goes then my money is on Tisdale and Tilson as an experienced and affordable pair.

How many points have we dropped on this game? Are we any lower in the league than this morning? FA Cup games are the only games we can make big money this season? In fact our season probably ended tonight and now it's just a fight for survival till May. Eeyore. Roll on next August then.

Rovers will not be able to afford his wages.

Embarrassing thread. I have never seen a manager care about this club more than DC and I wouldn't back anyone else more to turn things around. I'm more disappointed at the reaction of some gasheads than I am at the result, poor performance but that's not going to stop me from getting behind DC and the team.

Where was this last week when we beat MK? In reference to your thread title, who are we going to get in as manager who is better than DC? Did I say sack DC ? No but you started the thread “Sorry Time for DC to go “which amounts to the kind of sh** stirring we’d expect of a teenage girl in a school playground. Clearly looking for a rise. Pathetic.

If you don’t mind me saying I think he’s up there with Gerry Francis as far as caring about our club which is praise for Gerry and Darrell likewise.

I just cant see tisdale bothering to move to a slightly bigger club,it would be like dc going to say oxford united. Hasnt dc earned the right to have a difficult season after all the success we have had under him?

on To the next one. Closer to the play offs than relegation with 2 thirds of the season to go and we’ve lost our top scorer to the lady gardens last season and our best footballer to injury these last few weeks we’re still closer to success this season than failure at this point. Just goes to show what an incredible job DC and his back room staff and owner are doing on the pitch and off it. UTG.

But has it been a difficult season so far ? Look at the league table.

But has it been a difficult season so far ? Look at the league table. Difficult relative to the spoilt little brats our fan base has become after suddenly winning 2 promotions and becoming an average league 1 team. The amount of goals we have let in this season especially and last to a degree is bound to attract some critical comment though. I still think we could struggle this season unless we sort the conceding goals for fun side of our game out.

To be honest i think dc has missed the ambition boat unless we rally and surge up the league in the next few months.

DC is the best manager this club has had in years and one of the best in our entire history.
He has taken us from Non League oblivion to L1 respectability in 2 years and we’ve now hit the ceiling of what is possible for the investment being made.
If it wasn’t for DC we’d most likely be struggling to stay in this division. If anyone wants to vent frustration that we aren’t pushing on to the next level then you are barking up the wrong tree blaming DC. He himself will be pushing on to the next level soon enough though whether that’s with Rovers or someone else.
