So now these plans are out there all the drip drip negative lies have stopped. Funny that. What are the lies? Take your pick. Even if you choose to believe some portion of it you can't believe everything since a significant amount is self-contradicting even from the same posters; even from the same posters on the same day. How about "the Al Qadis have no exposure to loss on any spending because they've secured a charge against the mem". Explain how that can possibly be true.

Not sure who posted that but the owners do appear to have covered their arses so they are no fools. Explain how. As long as their exposure is less than their £10m charge that they have registered then they can realise their capital at any time by selling the Stadium.

They acquired the company and its assets for nowt in exchange for clearing the external debts.

Also your counter to my point was "they are no fools". Why do you want fools to own the club?

You obviously do not agree that their exposure is less than their security and until the latest accounts are published it’s difficult to prove otherwise but I bet the figure is getting close.

I'm just asking you to explain how it could be. If I buy an asset for 10 and borrow 5 against it how much have I spent and how much is the asset worth?

I'm just asking you to explain how it could be. If I buy an asset for 10 and borrow 5 against it how much have I spent and how much is the asset worth? The asset is worth what it is worth. Let’s assume it is the same 10. If I sell it for 10 it’s worth 10 and I would realise my nett 5 so no loss to me. As I own the asset I would also receive the balance of 5. I borrowed the 5 from my good Old Dad so repaid him and stuck the 5 in my pocket after paying my HMRC dues of course.
