I couldnae care less what anyone says, i'm proud as punch of Tom on what he's achieved from our own academy.
200 first team appearances at 22! chuffkin fantastic and deserves our patience when struggling.
Still think we could be looking back in 15 years at a Gas Legends career up there with ur Tilsons, Parkins, Holloways etc

Now how many games did Gareth Taylor play for Wales 20+ years ago, before we sold him for £1.25m to Palace?

Tom has seen plenty of the ball and settled well.

Ball through Toms legs leads to equaliser. Must add it was a good one two pass that beat the Welsh defence.

Lockyer pass leads to a goal! Misplaced pass! A decent pass down the left and a ricochet in a tackle put Lawrence through for the goal.

Tom will get 45 mins tonight. And 90 on saturday ☹️ At the risk of being unpopular i sincerely hope he does play Saturday. He is still by far our best defender and we are lucky to have him.

Put a few million on his value now he's an international.

At the risk of being unpopular i sincerely hope he does play Saturday. He is still by far our best defender and we are lucky to have him. But been our worst for too long. Sweeney gets a bit of stick on here at the mo (I didn’t attend the Rubbish cups for OBVIOUS reasons so can’t take them into account) but I’ll agree he’s not been as good as last season but he’s been better (and is) than tom. Not ever been convinced by locks. The best I’ve seen of him was that pairing of him and ollly Clarke in front of the back 4 under John ward. It didn’t suit olly tho.

Congratulation to Tom Lockyer;although,I just hope DC sticks with Mayo and Broadbent on Saturday, neither deserved to be dropped.

Congratulations tom, hopefully that should give him a boost.
Sorry to be negative but last minute you want your back line to keep their shape, yet he got dragged out of position and the ball went into the gap he vacated...

Well done Tom, well deserved.
Is he our first home grown (Youth team scholar) international to achieve a cap whilst still with us since Neil Slatter? (Gareth Taylor was ex-Southampton youth).
