Still no leadership from the owners then, still nothing to communicate to the fans. Once again they send out their puppet to bluster and bluff us. You might not have anything good to say Wael but at least you would get some respect if you had the bollox to tell us as it is instead of hiding like a coward. Wael goes to the games when in the country and answers plenty of questions. He answered lots before and after the last home game. He could be busy, so be has sent the chairman, which is his job anyway. It's not like he has business's to run all over the world or anything is it? LOL You and others are easily pleased. Our chairman is an employee, a puppet, a messenger in place to protect the owners from getting involved with anything uncomfortable. Wael had plenty to say to the media in the months after the takeover when all he had was good news but nothing since. Speaking to fans individually is not communicating with the fan base. He has shown zero leadership and zero courage since his family decided not to go forward with UWE. The lack of public communication from Wael since the collapse of the biggest and most game changing project in our history is contemptible and utterly disrespectful.. He was held on a pedestal by all but we are now seeing what he really is and in my view that is a disingenuous coward.

To be honest hamer has been rolled out tonight because wael and hani haven't got the balls to, just like when a junior minister has to go on tv to defend an unpopular government policy. Hamer is doing his job, as irritating as he is it isn't his fault. He is the face of a faceless board who have gone into hiding after well and truely selling out the thousands of supporters who welcomed them here with open arms. Shame on them

I presume your going?

we don't know what those terms are though because nobody will tell us!!! Why do you think you're so important that you should know the ins and outs of the UWE deal? At the end of the day if it was a good deal we would be proceeding with it. Why would the Al Qadis walk away from a deal that's good for the club? If it's good for the club it would mean it's good for them as there's money to be made.

If you are happy to have a situation like Coventry where they have no home then the UWE is they way to goIf we signed a 125 year lease I doubt many of us, or our children, would have to worry about us ever being like Coventry. Personally I'd take a chance at the UWE rather watch us slowly die at the Mem.

What we should be hearing is ...... the planning permission has been granted for the training ground and X number of pitches are going to be prepared from ...... (pick a week/month). We will have the first pitches in use ...... ( pick a month).
But will we ? Or are we going to spot tumbleweed blowing across the fields come spring/summer ?

If you are happy to have a situation like Coventry where they have no home then the UWE is they way to go I didn’t hear you shouting about how UWE was a bad deal from the start when we all believed it was happening. You’re only saying it now because you believe or want to believe what Wael said were the reasons. On the other hand I don’t blindly believe what Wael said, and his keeping silent ever since isn’t how someone would normally act if they felt they been blameless in the collapse of the deal. This was no more likely a Coventry situation than the ALQs acting in their own interests to the detriment of the FC.

Simple question then Are YOU happy to support a club that will not have a Home of its own and the ability to grow that home as its revenue streams grow ?.

Ask what Brighton fans think of their former owner Bill Archer. Closer to home you’d have no problem with some of the ALQs biggest cheerleaders telling you that our previous owner put self interest ahead of what was good for the club. In fact Henbury is accusing him of it on this thread by now saying it was a bad deal from the start.
