"I was at Middlesbrough for three years. It was a really good experience. It hasn't really worked out at Bristol Rovers so I am here at York now and I can't wait to get going on Saturday. "We will see what happens in January," he added. "Obviously, if I am doing well and I am playing week-in, week-out, I would think about a permanent move." www.yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk/news/club/defender-joins-minstermen-loanSee ya!

It’s a start but why didn’t he take Byron Moore with him?

Probably for the best, seemed a good signing at the time, U21 captain etc but obviously something did not click in his time with us. Did we pay a fee for him?

Someone one coming in on loan??? I dont think the rules allow us to loan players in unless its an emergency keeper. Conference clubs have different rules though it seems.

Pleased to hear this news, nothing against the young man but all of his appearances for the first team have been a let down.
I would hope this means someone new is coming in to replace him as we can't afford for the numbers to drop any further.
Although Sweeney hasn't been as good as last season I really hope he stays post Jan, not sure Telford will though as he's not had much game time.
Fingers crossed DC's January transfer business is as good as it was last year!

That's a remarkable quote for a 22 year old who was on the books of a Championship club earlier in the year. Talk about lack of ambition!

I think his ambition is to play first team football. Can't see much wrong with that if he's not getting a look in here.

Surprised how low some of our players drop was released, Puddy's still looking for a club and Jamie Lucas is at Bath, now Burn National North, how did they ever hope to make it in Div 1?

Think Lucas left Bath last week. Yes and has been replaced by an ex-Rovers Academy starlet - Isaac Pearce. Will be interested to see how this 18-year -old gets on there. Good luck to Jamie - a great lad !

Looking at the york city interview,i reckon hes already been told he wont be offered another contract by dc. I bet if you looked up all the players since the relegation season until now who have left the club it would make pretty sorry reading.

Why sorry, apart from the snake they'd all reached the end of the line at Rovers but I guess that's what comes after having two consecutive promotions.
