Surely Bodin's time at Rovers is nearly up. What do we think will happen with him? Go in Jan for a fee (if so, how much?) or lose him in the summer for nothing?

I think I’d be more worried if he signed the contract, a golden goodbye.

I think I’d be more worried if he signed the contract, a golden goodbye. You mean like Sir Rickeeee of Lambert (I know it was close season) ensured the club got a decent fee. If he just walks away after DC took a chance on him, I would view that as snake like behaviour

I'd be amazed if he stayed. He will be a massive loss when we inevitably lose him.

If he hasn't signed by Jan we should sell. This season is a write-off in any case.

I'b be surprised if we received a substantial offer for him in January - we'll get some low offers from clubs taking a punt but most will probably wait until June when they can get him for nothing. If I was in BB's shoes I'd run my contract down and see what comes in the summer, it's a short career and he needs to play at the highest level he can and perhaps force his way in to the Wales squad. He'd probably treble or quadruple his wages too and I don't think any of us would stay In our current jobs in that scenario.
I don't buy into this loyalty thing. It would be great if he stayed but he owes us nothing. We only gave him very short (monthly?) contracts after his initial trial. If his injury had flared or he performed badly he'd have been dropped like a stone by DC. clubs rarely show 'loyalty' to players so can't expect it in return.
The best we can probably hope for is he signs a new deal soon but insists on a buy out clause - hopefully more than the £300k Taylor negotiated and with a No Bristol City clause!

It's not negativity, it's realism. I'm just fed up of all the kicking of the team and the doom and gloom around here right now.
If he goes, he goes

I'm not kicking anyone, it's just realistic. If you think he will stay then fair enough but I can't imain many would agree with you.
