Just think, another irrelevant thread could have been avoided simply by saying, 'Excuse me, I asked for a steak pie, you've given me a pasty'. Cleary you are not disabled, [except perhaps in the mind.
It was not until I get to sit down that I realised they had given me the wrong item and it was to far to go back to change it.
Perhaps one day you may see how stupid your reply was.
Many of us are maybe next time you could rephrase it ,just because it's not visible ,doesn't mean it's not as debilitating as some physical disabilities

This thread is great.
There's about five arguments going on at the same time.

I apologise for that unnecessary comment.
So getting back to the origins of the thread, are people happy with the "new" pies and pasties? I am led to believe that supporters were given a tasting session pre-season. Did anyone here take part?

To be honest, i don't like the New Steak & Ale Pie, just a bit to spicy for me The New Sausage Roll is a thing of beauty but a bit on the large side to eat all in one go I have not had the chance to give the others a go yet

I've not tried the new suppliers' pies or pasties but reading this think it might be best if I bring my own for the next game.

I'm thinking the issue may not be the supplier, but whatever we are doing to the food at our end.

i finally managed to get one of the sweet potato curry (veggie) pies on Saturday, well worth the wait and the money. i would recommend those pies above the pasties anyday. haters gonna hate Tried the chicken tikka pie on Saturday. Superb, crammed full of filling with loads of nice chicken breast. Can see why the makers have received awards recently.

Threads like this always remind me of the old bloke in the uplands terrace who keeled over towards the end of the first half of a game a few years ago. He believed he was in cardiac arrest when he felt a burning sensation in his chest. Turned out he had forgotten about the piping hot pasty he'd left to cool in his inside jacket pocket.

My opinion is that the new pies are much better than the old pies. For a start they are a decent size and don't fall apart as soon as you pick it up. You can hold it in your hand, take a bite and be happy in the knowledge that the rest of it hasn't just folded in on itself, burnt the skin off your fingers, and landed on the floor. The filling is better as well. I still need to try one of these well received sausage rolls. Maybe at the next home game.

Attended my first home game on Saturday.
I ordered a steak pie in the West Stand entrance but was given a pasty. I do not particularly like pasties and to be honest I had to leave half of it as it had a peculiar taste.
On Sunday I had sever diarrhoea, was the pasty the reason?
Is there a new supplier for pasties as I will not be ordering one again.
What are the pies like as I gather there is a new supplier and they are transported up from Brighton?
If is has been taken up before I apologise but do not have the time or inclination to backtrack through pervious threads. DC out

You would not get the shits that quickly from eating something that may or may not be off. It generally takes the body 48 hours to detect food poisoning, you may have just had a dodgy gut or eaten something that your body diddnt agree with prior to eating at the mem. Hope this helps.

A friend of mine has crabs, what’s the best way of getting rid of them without going to the Doctors.
