Would be nice to see Gaffers start.Reckon Bola and Telford will go back In Jan as they never feature and wouldn't be surprised to see Byron Moore loaned out.

For me: Slocombe Brown Lockyer Sweeney Leadbitter Partington Sinclair Sercombe Bodin Harrison Gaffney Yep, that works for me. Prefer Slocs to Smith but can't see DC dropping him right now as he's not done much wrong in the last 2 games (you could say he hasn't had a lot to do tbh). I agree that OC should be rested and Gaffers should definitely get a start, I reckon him and Ellis together could cause havoc amongst the opposition's back line!

Smith Leads Lockyer Sweeney Brown Partington Bodin Sinclair Lines Sercombe Harrison The only problem with that CM is Sincs & LInes are usually cr@p together, although it's hard to imagine anybody can play worse than OC did on Saturday. Think he needs a break from first team football, which will hopefully do him the world of good. Surprised anybody is suggesting drop Sincs as he had a good game.

Sorry to keep taking the thread off task, but I was just thinking, what about a team with literally no goals in it? I can think immediately of Steve Yates at the back and a strike 'force' of Jamie White and Luke James - though on second thoughts I'm not sure whether Jamie White would have played enough games to qualify. Maybe should be a minimum of 30? Did any other strikers we have had go for that long without a goal?

I would go with,
Smith Leads, Lockyer, Sweeney, Brown Partington Bodin, Lines, Sercombe, Bola Harrison
.....but I reckon DC will pick the same side this week except Lines coming in for Ollie Clarke

They want to come out to play as well! 😉 UTG!

A bafflingly respectable tally of 19 goals in 61 starts, believe it or not! I must admit I was surprised to read that.

What's a "winning" team though, the one which started and conceded a goal or, the one which ended and scored 2 goals?

Maybe should be a minimum of 30? Did any other strikers we have had go for that long without a goal? Right. I think I've nailed this. Restricted to players we can remember! Naturally enough for this task, I'm going with one up front! GK: Brian Parkin 246 apps, 0 goals RB: Ryan Green 71 apps, 0 goals LB: Che Wilson 92 apps, 0 goals CB: Steve Yates 197 apps, 0 goals CB: Lindsay Parsons 360 apps, 0 goals RW: Mark Wright 24 apps, 0 goals CM: Matt Gill 45 apps, 0 goals CM: Ronnie Mauge 53 apps, 0 goals CM: Seanan Clucas 39 apps, 0 goals LW: Mark McKeever 42 apps, 0 goals CF: Luke James 24 apps, 0 goals In fairness to the above, with the exception of Mark Wright (the team's 'luxury' player), they have a pretty good work ethic so I don't think we'd concede too many. Not sure I'd be buying a season ticket, though!
