North stand to begin with. First game v Tranmere Rovers 1968. A couple of years in my rebellious youth on the Tote End, then back to the cosy embrace of the North enclosure.

Regular Tote Ender from 1964 on - although did watch from the Haaaarold enclosure from time to time. Not one to get too nostalgic, but boy, if for just one more time if I could have the smoke of a Woodbine in my face, the stench of Gas wafting over the pitch & thud of an Alfie Biggs header crashing into the Tote End goal.......... I'm filling up now 😢

Regular Tote Ender but mainly evening games as played football most Saturdays. favourite games - all of the League Cup games in the two seasons when we had the great runs which ended with a 4-2 defeat to Stoke who had the great Gordon Banks in goal and a 0-1 defeat at Aston villa. Great atmospheres.

Count me in as well. Was in the Tote End when we played Arsenal in the cup. It was rammed. I can’t remember when that was, but I think somebody called Taylor played in goal and was his debut. Some baptism.

Regular in the Tote from the Oldham game in 1967. Got the bruises and fines to prove it.

Can still see him now sat on the car bonnet, hair brlycreamed and winkle pickers, the epitome of 60s rock!!!

Lost 1-0 at Villa Park, Chico Hamilton i think scored right near the end, remember Carl Gilbert missed our best chance. Tote end from about 1968 before that north enclosure sat on the wall with my rattle, after about 1979 - 80 season ticket in the North stand.

The Villa game I can remember was.in approx 1969/70 and was a league cup replay from memory. Forgive me if my memory is playing tricks on me.
